Nestled in the heart of Schuss Mountain at Shanty Creek Resort, this charming 4-season chalet is the perfect getaway. Hit the nearby slopes in winter or tee off on one of five championship golf courses in the summer and fall. Roast marshmallows around the custom firepit, sip morning coffee on the expansive deck, and the oversized driveway offers plenty of room for guests and toys. Just 15 mins from Torch Lake’s turquoise waters and within an hour of Traverse City, Petoskey, and Charlevoix.



The Space:

Tucked in the quiet woods of Schuss Mountain, this newly renovated chalet blends rustic charm with modern comfort. It features 3 cozy bedrooms that comfortably sleep up to 9 guests, plus 2 full bathrooms—one on each floor. The open-concept living, kitchen, and dining areas make gathering easy, with a natural fireplace adding warmth and ambiance. In the summer, the new portable AC unit (already installed and ready for use) keeps the upper floor cool, when needed. Enjoy a spacious deck with a grill, dining table, and couch, or gather around the custom firepit with plenty of seating under the stars. Large driveway offers lots of room for guests or toys.



Guest Access:

The entire house is yours to enjoy, with the exception of 2 owner closets on the lower floor. However, both bedrooms on the lower floor also have their own closets.



The Neighborhood:

Nicely wooded property in a quiet, serene setting.



Getting Around:

Private parking for guests. All roads in and out are paved. There is also a complimentary shuttle that drops off and picks up at Schuss Lodge. The shuttle runs between the different resort villages and downtown Bellaire.



Other Things to Note:

You're in Northern Michigan now! Our lakes, woods, and fresh air are part of what makes this area so special. Along with that natural beauty come the occasional bugs and critters that call this area home. While we regularly service and maintain the property, seeing a mosquito, spider, or other insect from time to time is simply part of the Northern Michigan experience



Please remember to bring your own beach towels for swimming, boating, and outdoor adventures. Bath towels provided in the home are intended for indoor use only and should not be taken to the beach, lake, or pool areas.
