The property was exactly as described so no surprises. My family was thrilled by the view and overall quality. We were very comfortable as it was well equipped. My dad especially loved the sun room. We made all our meals in the kitchen and appreciated the provided coffee. We would definitely book this property again.
The property was clean and well maintained. Looking at some other reviews, yes, the property is somewhat dated. It was, however, well stocked, clean and we had no issues with parking or feeling comfortable. It's a bit far away from the downtown if you wanted to walk. Very easy to get to and from though with a car. I f I was staying in Port Angeles again I would consider staying there again.
My only regret is we only had 1 night to spend in this delightful place. Very well thought out. Every small detail accounted for. Would absolutely stay here again.
We had a group of 6 travelers (2 families) and the space was perfect for our group! The only suggestion I have for improvement would be to have larger frying pans in the kitchen. Checkin was smooth and communication was fast and helpful! Thank you!
We did enjoy our stay. Whoever was below us, had their music turned up loud! We could hear it. They did turn it off before 10 & we appreciated the quiet.Beautiful views even with overgrown greenery.I wouldn’t recommend staying in winter because the driveway is very steep. If there’s ice or snow, you may not get out.
Property has beautiful views. Home was well maintained and clean. The laundry was top notch and we found so useful for our short stay. The Coho Ferry is within 10 minutes drive.
The space was beautiful and clean, with a well-stocked kitchen. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms had all the toiletries you could need.
Very spacious and comfortable property with a fabulous water view. This property was clean, well-stocked, and professionally managed. Would happily stay there again.
So many great things to say about this stay, the property, and the responsiveness of the host. The home is on the western edge of town and quiet which helps you appreciate the phenomenal view from the back deck over the strait. Excellent home with vaulted ceilings, HUGE picture windows, and tons of light flooding in. Well appointed, clean, great kitchen for relaxing and could accommodate at least 10 for a meal. Laundry machines are new and very efficient. Our family of 5 had a great time and we could access the tide pools at Crescent Beach 20 minutes to the West, Forks and the Hoh rainforest 90-120 minutes to the west, and Hurricane Ridge (40 minutes, mostly driving in the national park) from Port Angeles.
The house has AMAZING views and it is spotlessly clean - which we loved!! It was great sitting out on the porch with a view of the sound and Mt. Baker!! Something I didn’t realize (my fault, it is listed in the description) until we got there is that it is above another unit, so we felt like we had to tiptoe and cut card games off early so we weren’t too loud. Also, didn’t realize there is no AC, which was not a problem for us at all in June, as we had lovely breezes!
