Always a wonderful time at Mountain Manor. It feels like home after many vacations spent there. Comfortable, clean, convenient and the views are epic! Pam is a caring and thoughtful host and wants her guests to have a great experience. And we always do.
Pam was a great host. The cabin was fantastic. I highly recommend this location.

Thanks for being delightful guests, Kent! So glad to hear you and your family enjoyed the home and convenient location! Hope to have you return -maybe even check out all the area offerings in summer as well!
Great placement, loved being able to bring our pet, hiked adjoining mountain with flowing water. At a ski resort in 10 minutes, spent full day in downtown Salida. Being that private and left alone is worth the extra expense over a hotel for the week.
Mountain Manor is our favorite place to stay! This was our second time to relax in this house! It’s comfortable and the views are amazing! Pam is a great host and is easy to communicate with! We hope to stay there again.
We hit the jackpot when we found this cabin. We were on a church ski trip at the monarch slopes and had an AMAZING experience staying here. The house was very cute and clean. We felt welcomed and appreciated through all communication with the owners. The weather was crazy and wind caused some fence issues. We notified the owners just to make them aware (the wind damage did not effect our stay) and they immediately responded and had someone over to look at it. The cabin is pet friendly but you would never know seeing as how well kept the home is. The guest book with local menus and site seeing ideas was perfect for helping us fill out downtime inbetween ski trips. We plan on staying here again in the future! Highly recommend!

Always a great and memorable time at Mountain Manor. We love it so much and feel so comfortable and at home there. We keep returning so that says something! Our host, Pam, is always warm and welcoming and genuinely cares that her renters have a good visit and a pleasant and hassle-free experience. We’re already thinking about next time.
We had a fantastic stay! Pam sent lots of great information and recommendations before we arrived. The house was better than we had hoped! There aren’t many pictures of the inside of the house, so I was a little worried, but it was perfect! Great beds and lots of space for my family to spread out and sleep comfortably! We brought our two dogs, which they happily accommodated, and the had lots of dog gates which were really a nice touch. Overall we had a great experience and would stay again!!
The house has everything you need and was super comfy! Great location and awesome area to visit.

So happy to hear you had everything you needed and enjoyed the home and area and so did your pets! We welcome you back any time you hear the mountains calling!
Loved the views on the front and back decks. A relaxing vacation for hiking or just sitting on the deck watching the hummingbirds. Also text owner responded to my questions right away.
We had such a lovely time at Mountain Manor! We stayed here for a weekend galentines ski trip. Perfect in-between for Monarch and Salida and such a neat, cozy space. Pam was a gem and so helpful and welcoming.
This property was a great location for the ski slopes. It’s surrounded with nature and wildlife. We enjoyed the front porch and views from every window.

Thank you for your positive feedback, Jennifer! So happy to hear you found the home's location so convenient to Monarch ski resort! Also, nice to hear you enjoyed the 360 degree views, nature and wildlife! We hope to hear from you again!
We loved staying here during our ski trip! It is even better than in the photos. The mountain views all around are amazing. Everything we needed was provided and communication was great. It was a cozy place to stay and we hope to be back!
We stayed here while making our way across Colorado. The view was stunning and the house was perfect for our needs. While staying here, we visited Great Sand Dunes National Park, Monarch Mountain, St. Elmo, Salida and Buena Vista, but, honestly, it would have been a great place to just chill for a few days, too. Highly recommend whether you're looking for a centrally located place for visiting or want to just relax.

Great location
This was the perfect spot for skiing Monarch and going to Salida for shopping and dinner. The owners were wonderful people to work with. We would stay there again!
We have rented this cabin before because of its warm cozy feel. It is so quiet and oh the stars we could see at night. The mattresses on the beds were fantastic when you have back and hip issues this makes huge difference. Pam was great to get info to check in and area places to see and restaurants nearby. Which we tried several.Thank You Pam Greg we will be back.Cindy Barta
Excellent place to unwind. We mountain bike and the house was a little ways away but well worth it. Humming birds and deer in the backyard. Everything you could possibly need. Excellent place
Mountain Manor is the perfect spot between Salida and Monarch. Plenty of space for a family of 4 and really a few more could sleep comfortably. Beautiful views from the front and back porch and so many outdoor adventures close by. The hosts are awesome and we will most definitely stay again on our next trip.
