Our family of 4 stayed for 4 nights while visiting family in the area. Nice place right on the water, with lots of dock space. The boys caught fish right off the dock. Host was super responsive when we had a question.
This house was the tidiest rental we’ve stayed at! It was perfect for a girls weekend with young kids. The host was so accommodating and helpful. She made sure we had absolutely everything we needed in order to have a wonderful stay. The calm views of the lake and cozy living room will have us coming back!
Four of us stayed at the Lily Pad cottage and absolutely loved it! Dock was a great feature of this VRBO. Exquisitely fun, mid-century design interior, 4 bedrooms, spacious great-room, bar, dining, and kitchen. Excellent host communication. A+ all the way!
The Lily Pad house is outstanding. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in the house and sitting outside and soaking up the beautiful view of the lake. The retro vibe is great!
Natalie was wonderful to work with and we look forward to coming back to this house again
A group of us friends born in the 70’s met at the property and fully enjoyed our stay - from listening and dancing to records, playing games, walking on the frozen lake, hanging in Chippewa Falls and touring the Brewery. It was fun reminiscing our childhoods within all the main floor rooms. Beds were comfy, plenty of refrigerator space and parking. Loads of memories made between us friends, thank you!
We loved the location, perfect for walking and just relaxing. The house is right on the water looking across to woods and a beach with a pleasant amount of boat traffic, from pontoons to jet skis to fishing boats to leisure craft. The house was spotlessly clean and everything as described on the website, and the "retro" decor is delightful with many charming details, and the kitchen, dining room, living room and one bedroom have large windows overlooking the water. The kitchen is large and well-stocked. We were thoroughly pleased with our stay!
Perfect place on the lake with amazing retro design
My wife and I wanted a quiet getaway on a lake. We have a 21 foot Chaparral, the dock, water depth were perfect. The pictures don't do justice to the retro design, amazing details, we had friends over one day and they all loved it. Not just a cool design, the entire house is very well kept and a great place to stay. Had everything we needed. The added fire pit, grill and small camper were great additions. Host was very responsive. Will definitely stay again.
My good friend flew in from Montana for a long weekend. We attended a concert on Saturday, XX skied, and spent lots of time visiting over coffee and tea at the cool retro kitchen table overlooking the lake. Also, the kitchen had EVERYTHING we needed for cooking special meals (I have Celiac). Because I wake up earlier than my friend, I also read two books from the properties well-curated collection! I would definitely return to this property.

About the host

Hi! I'm Natalie. I'm a professional photographer who loves hiking. Bryan is a VP of Software Engineering. Salt Lake City, UT is home for us. We're big concert-goers and discovered our love for Wisconsin at Eaux Claires Fest in 2016. We hope you love our home and the surrounding area as much as we do!
Why they chose this property
The Lily Pad is uniquely positioned on Lake Wissota. The picture windows look directly across to Lake Wissota State Park. The space is so perfect for groups and the surrounding area is beautiful year round. Pine Harbor is a lovely area that feels secluded, yet is a short drive to charming downtown Chippewa Falls.
What makes this property unique
We already owned one home on Lake Wissota when we noticed The Lily Pad while boating past on a pontoon boat one day. We immediately fell in love with the home and the neighborhood and felt lucky to purchase it. The picture window in the large living room is our favorite spot to cozy up and enjoy the view.
