Great stay. Kitchen is well stocked, house furniture is comfortable, and home's atmosphere is pleasing & relaxing. Quiet neighborhood. Private settingneighborhood
The pictures of this beautiful home did not do it justice. The kitchen is beautiful, spacious, and so well stocked! The neighborhood is wooded and so quaint with tons of deer. The home is so clean and well decorated. Thank you for sharing your home with us!
A spacious and comfortable space with all the amenities. Very nice property both inside and out with plenty of room for the whole family. Enjoyed our evening walks to Seawall.
Stepping Stones was a wonderful home very well equipped with everything you would need for your stay.
Home was very clean. Location was not far out of SWH. Nice front porch to sit out in the late afternoon and fire pit was convenient. Lovely yard with deer walking by. We enjoyed our stay.
Would stay here again. The kitchen was the best supplied for cooking of any VRBO we have stayed in. We spent our days hiking and being active. This was a great place to relax in the evening in a quiet neighborhood away from the crowds. We had one small issue that was handled promptly and with courtesy.
We booked this house for the summer vacation and we loved it. It is close to everything but far enough away to be nice and quiet. We didn't do much cooking, but the house was furnished with all of the stuff needed to cook if you want to. We sat out by the fire pit every night. I picture of the living room doesn't really show how room it is. We were pleasantly surprised at how much room there was.
Our first trip to the Acadia National Park area in Maine was even better due to the incredible home we booked. The location was perfect, the house had everything we needed for our week. The house is tucked in to a wonderful wooded neighborhood, close to Seawall beach and the magic of nature. After long days of hiking it was so nice to come back our home and relax outside at the fire pit and watch the deer, red squirrels, and incredible numbers of birds come and go. We definitely will stay here again! Thanks Amy, your home exceeded our expectations.
Property has plenty of living space and nice decor. Beds are really comfy. I thought it was going to be on more of a neighborhood street but was really at the end of a narrow road through the woods. Lots of deer. Pretty cool location and easy to get around. Cell service in all of MDL is sketchy. Not related to this property only— it’s weak everywhere. Wifi was good tho!
The property is just as described by the listing with all the necessities (pack your own bathroom essentials such as shower gel/shampoo though) and comfort. The location is about 30 minutes drive to Bar Harbor, the island’s commercial center, however the local town (Southwest Harbor) is very quaint, and has great restaurants and bakeries. The Common Good Soup Kitchen serves very good popover on the mornings of Friday - Sunday! Charlotte’s Legendary Lobster is just couple of minutes drive away from the cottage, and has very good lobster dishes. All in all, we had a wonderful time in Acadia National Park, and this house certainly contributed to the experience.
The kitchen was well stocked with good quality pans & utensils - not the odds and ends I have found in other rentals.
Everything was clean and neat, we loved our stay. Will definitely stay here again if available!
The house is very serviceable for two couples. Its close location to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor was perfect for our needs. The owner was available to answer any questions we had.
Enjoyed our stay! Loved having a fire pit and grill. Watched the sunrise the last morning at Seawall picnic area. Beautiful!! Close to Acadia too. Beds were comfy and kitchen is well equipped. Would stay here again!
What a lovely decorated and comfortable home equipped with everything you need. Perfect for two couples. Close to many attractions and eating places! Owner, Amy was very nice! Would definitely stay here again!
