Was a great place to stay!! Very clean, had all the amenities! Great location!! Loved the open parking in front of the townhouse!! Host was very informative with things to do, places to eat, and tips for seeing Acadia! Would highly recommend staying here!
We loved this unit. It was very clean. Kitchen had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and bedding nice. The shower had great water pressure. I loved the close walk to the coffee shop. Little grocery store nearby. The only thing that we would have enjoyed was a TV in the bedroom. Would definitely stay here again.
This townhome was perfect for us. It was very clean and I appreciated there was liquid soap, paper towels, coffee, etc. I debated between staying here or in Bar Harbor and we were all happy with Southwest Harbor. Much more relaxed and quieter than Bar Harbor.
Very nice property… so glad it was located on the”quiet side”!!! Nice location to Acadia and Bass Harbor Head Lighthouse!

I stayed at Beech Mtn when we went to Acadia Natl Park. Ingrid was very easy to communicate with and the townhouse had everything that we needed. Home is located about 12 minutes away from the main park entrance and roughly 20 minutes from Bar Harbor. Definitely would stay here again.
This house was a perfect fit for us. Loved being on the quiet side of the island and still just a short drive to get into Acadia or over to Bar Harbor. Plenty of places to eat within walking distance or very short drive. Would recommend
Spacious and clean townhouse. Located in a nice quiet area but not too far from Acadia, Bar Harbor and shopping.
Ingrid began communicating with us almost immediately after booking and stayed in contact.
She offered detailed directions and so many suggestions for places to visit and tips to make things easier.
Very nice experience!
This was our first visit to Acadia, and we enjoyed it thoroughly. We found Southwest Harbor to be quieter and less expensive than the Bar Harbor side of the park. The park was crowded, as predicted for early September, but we were able to find parking even at the most visited sites, and with a little advance planning, we watched the sunrise from atop Cadillac Mountain, took a delightful horse-drawn ride on some carriage roads, lunched at Jordan Pond House, and hiked a few of the easier trails.
House was very clean, nicely decorated, and had all of the necessities. I really appreciated having coffee and laundry detergent. We were not expecting the 90 degree weather, but the two boxes fans and overhead fans in each room made it tolerable. My kids are teenagers and were comfortable leaving the windows open at night, but for parents of little ones, be aware that you will be sleeping on a different level than the kids if you are choosing to leave windows open at night to cool off the house. We absolutely loved exploring Southwest Harbor (you can walk to restaurants and shops from the house) and the quieter side of Acadia. I feel like this area is the best kept secret on the island! Not touristy feeling at all and not crowded. If you are going to Acadia, Ingrid's place is perfect to make as your homebase- especially if you want peace and quiet.
We enjoyed our trip to Acadia. This property is around 20 minutes from bar harbour. It’s big for a two bedroom and well stocked. The only complaint was that the sofa bed was really uncomfortable to sit on. There is a supermarket a couple of minutes away but I’d recommend you use another one as most of the fruit and veggies we bought were rotten. Even the cheese was off.
There is so much to do in this beautiful area!
It was a great stay!! Very close to all of the Acadia National Park hikes and attractions. Clark Pointe Cafe was a gem on the final morning after check-out. Would definitely stay here again!
The host was very communicative and provided clear and concise instructions for check-in/check-out. The place was clean and well equipped. The location was close to shops and restaurants in southwest harbor. Highly recommended.
We were on a sisters vacation and the property was perfect for us. Ingrid was very helpful and always responded quickly to any questions. Check-in and wifi access was easy.
This was our first trip to Acadia and we wanted someplace that would be comfortable and give us room to spread out when we came back each day. This place was great. We had plenty of room for the three of us to unpack and not be in each other's way. The property was incredibly clean and well stocked. We appreciated the communication prior to our stay to tell us what was available at the house and suggestions on things to do and places to eat. We also liked the information sheets that were placed around the house to tell you how to use things and all about checking out. The only thing I will say is the property does not have A/C but by following the directions about leaving things closed up during the day and opening at night, we were able to stay comfortable. The owner provided two box fans that we had running on most days, just to keep the air circulating while we were out. The shower in the upstairs bathroom is a little on the smaller side so it might be difficult for someone larger to use it. We had no problems and there is a tub/shower combo in the downstairs bathroom, if needed. The location is great. It is on the quiet side of the island and believe me it was quiet. We only heard a few cars most nights but otherwise it was almost silent. While it is a short drive (20ish) minutes to the main part of Acadia, we liked being able to dodge the busier, more tourist parts of the park and Bar Harbor. I highly recommend this property.
The property was very clean and well furnished. Ingrid was very responsive to any questions we had. The location was good and very reasonable. We would definitely stay there again if visiting Mt. Desert island!
We very much enjoyed our stay in the townhouse. Location was great, away from the bustle of BH. It was very clean and comfortable. Newer construction and stocked with nice things. Appreciated the tips about hikes and restaurants in the area.
We had a lovely stay at the Beech Mountain Townhouse while in town for a wedding. The place was clean and included all amenities listed. Great location, and we happened to be in town for the local Flamingo parade, which went right past the house and was quite charming. Ingrid was very communicative and gave all the information we could need!
The place was clean and open, very airy and practical. The host provided coffee, towels, dishwasher and laundry soap - most of the essentials. Southwest Harbor is quiet and beautiful.
