Perfect little place

My husband and our dog really enjoyed our stay in Lost Shaker of Sea Salt. A short walk to the beach past sea loins that our dog loved. Quiet at night, clean and comfortable, we would stay here again!

Cozy beach cottage

Great location, you walk to the beach to swim, surf or hang out. The harbor waters are accessible across the street where you can hop on a kayak (there are two available for use with the cottage) or stand up paddle basically right out of your front doorstep! It is clean, modern and was a perfect getaway with our teen kids, we will be back.

First beach trip for our dog

We had a great time at this house. The home was perfect for our dog. He was happy watching people walk by the bay. He was able to move from the front area, the home and back patio. The home was well stocked and we were able to make meals. I wish it had like a casserole dish for a bigger dish but overall very clean and comfortable. 5 ⭐️ s

Family Christmas Retreat

The Lost Shaker of Salt beach house was the perfect spot for our family Christmas gathering. We traveled from South Carolina to spend the holidays with our adult children and their spouses who live in the area. We found the home perfectly located for family walks along the harbor and Sliver Strand beach. The house was clean upon arrival and fully stocked for preparing meals. Check-in was easy and communication smooth.The only disappointment we faced was the construction going on in the harbor just across the street. The tractors and construction noise started every morning at 7am… even on Sunday. Obviously this is completely out of the control of the homes owner and/management company but it is worth noting for future renters… signs in the area indicate this harbor restoration was going to last for several more months.

The house was great! It was close to the Ventura Naval Base where our son's Change of Command Ceremony was so it was extremely convenient. I would absolutely stay here again. Our only issue was the directions and the check in. We had a later flight and by the time we landed, got our rental car, is was dark. The house is on XXX Court, which is right next to XXX Drive. It is a major, minor difference, except at night, in the dark. We put the address into Waze which took us there. But you can't see the street sign well, and it is a 45 degree turn to the right to get onto XXX Court, and a 90 degree turn to get onto XXX Drive. We turned onto XXX Drive and were essentially lost when we were actually right there. We drove up and down XXX Drive and couldn't find the unit. We wrote to the E-mail address that was provided. We finally realized we had to be on XXX Court and pulled into the unit. The listing does show there is a garage to park 2 cars in the garage and one outside of the garage. I did walk up to the garages that were next to the unit and entered the code that was provided. The unit is great. The book in the house with all of the information showed the garage and the entry code. By this time, it was 11:00 AM and no reply from the night before. I had to write another message, again no reply! I then wrote about the garage. There is no garage! Can't call anyone. Phone number listed called. Machine says "Do Not Leave Message." FINALLY got a rely. Poor communication

Ideal Thanksgiving getaway!

The house is well done, modern, has tasteful and comfortable furnishings, wonderful patios in front and back, and right across the street from the harbor.. I have never seen so many seals in one place at the same time. We would recommend it to any small group and would definitely stay here again.

Relax Away!!

Lisa’s property Lost Shaker of Salt was a perfect place for relaxing with our family over the weekend, It is beautifully decorated and right across from the harbor. There is a great patio with a fire pit but we spent a lot of time with the double doors open relaxing in the den and enjoying the harbor views. My daughter and her husband kayaked the harbor and Silverstrand beach is about a 3 minute walk. Our favorite part of the house was the electric fireplace in the den. It was all perfect for a wonderful weekend with family!
