The cottage was clean and big enough to accommodate our larger group. Frank was wonderful to deal with and replied quickly to all messages. I would definitely recommended this place to anyone needing a little more space than your standard cottage.
My family with two young children enjoyed a three-night visit to this spacious cottage in the woods near Gravenhurst. The child-friendly beach a short walk away was very special and we spent lots of time there. The cottage was well-equipped with fans during the July '26 heat dome and clean, comfortable beds. The kids especially enjoyed the room with four stacked bunks--such an adventure! We all enjoyed the great room with skylights. The dining room was a quiet escape and a good spot for family board games. We were pleasantly surprised to discover the Keurig Coffee Machine with pods provided and the fridge stocked with bottled water and condiments. I was a little concerned about only one bathroom for myself, my daughter, her husband, and two tykes, but it all went smoothly. Some suggestions, Frank, for people who like to spend a lot of time outside. Weather-proof cushions for the chairs & loveseat on the deck would add comfort. The umbrella needs repair. Basic repairs to the storage shed could turn it from a danger zone into a practical spot to store yard items. As it was a heat dome, we avoided the firepit. It was a truly magical spot for us and we appreciated Frank and the property manager's attention and flexibility. My daughter did up the laundry and left the cottage clean and tidy for the next guests.
This was the perfect little getaway for our growing family. It was close to all the places we needed to get to and we loved the beach. Frank had drinking water (an essential) and propane available for us and we loved having campfires each night. The kids loved the stacked bunk beds and overall it was a cozy place for us. We are definitely planning to return!
My friends and I wanted an escape from reality and this place was just what we needed. We were a couple steps away from the lake. As well as there were board games and movies to watch just in case it rained. Overall a great getaway!

Spent a weekend at the cottage. The cottage itself is quite good and perfect for a large group with kids. Its located a few steps away for the lake. The only downside is that it has only one washroom and the area around the cottage can be maintained a little better.
Frank was very attentive and answers question very promptly. Very easy going. Beach was amazing. Kids loved it. Beach toys for everyone to share. Slide in the water. Floating dock. Short walk to the beach.

There were bed bugs we found after our first night at the cottage. Due to this we left the next morning. Frank was good about coordinating a full reimbursement and helping us coordinate with VRBO. We did not get to explore any of the outdoor amenities as a result. The cottage itself had a good set up.
