Our stay was excellent. Tim our host was very accommodating and communication with him was very good, he was very quick in responding to inquiries. The cabin was clean and very well equipped. My family and I enjoyed a very relaxing few day with our furry babies. Highly recommend. Thank you Tim!

Tim was a great host and was quick to respond to any question I had. Location of house is great just a few minutes to town and 10 min to Mount snow. Nice pet friendly home with a pellet stove that was great for the cold nights.

Bear Tracks cabin

The cabin is cozy and attractive. Nice extra touches (expresso machine, fireplace, games, pet friendly). Having access to the Chimney Hill Clubhouse was a plus; loved the pool and game rooms. Easy drive to Mt Snow and Wilmington.

Clean and Cozy

We had a very enjoyable stay. The house had been recently updated, it was very clean and has all the amenities you need. The owner was quick to respond to my questions. This is a very nice house for a smaller group, and we would definitely consider renting again.

The house was exactly as shown in the pictures. It was very comfortable very cozy . had to communicate immediately with the owner and he was very quick to respond. The only big issue I had was that there was a bunch of ice and snow leading up to the steps to the house and we were a bunch of women over 50 so that was a little bit of a hurdle every time he wanted to go in and out of the house. None of the beds were made when we got there and the housekeeper had to drop off towels and pillowcases.Other than those issues, it was a great house that slept six of us comfortably and we did enjoy our time there.

Thanksgiving in Vermont

Wonderful memories made at Bear Tracks. My family has vacationed on Chimney Hill at thanksgiving for over 40 years. We were so happy that we could bring our dog and the house provided 4 bedrooms for our family with 3 adult sons. Unfortunately the fireplace was not working while we were there, and the original pictures of a room with two twin beds turned out to be bunk beds which did not accommodate my 6ft adult son. Other than that it was great spot that I would recommend.

Small, cozy house close to slopes

Owner is fantastic. Super responsive. However the house needs some repairs, half the lights don’t work, the arcade does not work and the fireplace does not work (we were told of the fireplace the day before). The Murphy bed is falling apart and if you pull it down there is no room to get to the bathroom. We only had 6 people and it was a snug fit. The bunk beds are meant for children and there is only seating for 6 in the kitchen. The light is out in the mudroom so you can’t see anything when entering the house. We used our phone flashlights. The kitchen overhead light it out so it was difficult cooking. Each room had its own thermostat which was good. Some of the cooking utensils were in need of replacement. The owner let us have late checkout which was so helpful because our car got stuck in the driveway for hours. If not for the fantastic owner and his responsiveness the rating would have been lower.

Cute, clean cabin with comfortable beds. Bunks are best for kids, not adults. We were a family with 6 adults and a toddler. I think if there were more people, the living space would be too small. Nice modern kitchen, fairly well stocked. It could use a griddle for pancakes. Fridge is small, bring ice. There are only 6 kitchen chairs and eating area was tight. Plenty of bath towels, but no hand towels or facecloths. The clubhouse and pools were great. It was a nice area to visit. Tim, the owner, was very responsive and nice.
