Cozy Camp Nestled in the Woods

Welcome to our neck of the woods. Enjoy our quiet camp nestled in the woods on a private road at the base of a small mountain. Enjoy roughing it in our 2-room cozy cabin with just the basics. Our camp is situated within minutes of lakes, fishing, kayaking, hiking trails, snowmobile trails, and some of the best skiing in the area. We offer amenities, including an outdoor picnic area with a fire pit and charcoal grill. Relax and listen to the sound of the forest in a hammock or swinging chair in our wooded backyard. Inside, you will find a small kitchen equipped with everything you need to prepare basic meals, a compact bathroom with a shower, and a cozy living area. You can even buy fresh eggs from our homesteading neighbors. Wi-Fi is provided free of charge, as there is no cell service. Nearby towns, Hillsboro, Henniker, and Newport, offer some fantastic restaurants and brew pubs, as well as a golf course and local music venues. Just up the road, you will find the Washington General Store, which offers basic sundries and a breakfast/lunch counter along with live bands on the occasional Friday night.
Please note our camp is a work in progress. We bought the house after having been vacant for 10 years. There are portions of the house that are under repair or in need of repair. Some areas of the building may not be accessible. We hope that you bear with us as we upgrade our camp into glamping at its best. We are excited to host your next get away.
