Very clean property. Out standing views from the back deck. Fire place and main floor living perfect for family to gather and have fun. Would highly recommend a stay here.
We absolutely loved the house. Perfect for our family Christmas get together. Super comfortable and had everything we needed. Pet friendly and close to the things we wanted to do!
Our stay was great, with amazing views and a perfect launching point to explore the surrounding areas. We had two families comfortably in the space and everyone had a great time. The property manager was also incredibly helpful, showing great flexibility as we navigated some illness and had to reschedule. Strongly suggest this home!
What a great house! Our family of 5 had plenty of room to spread out and enjoyed the view from the porches and the rocking chairs in the garden. The kitchen had everything we needed and then some and the property management company was so easy to work with. We look forward to booking this property again!
House was beautiful, great views and well stocked with kitchen and bathroom supplies. The only complaint from the group was dog hair under the kitchen table that were missed on cleaning.
We would book again here and enjoyed the visit.

Thank you. I am sorry the cleaner missed something, but am so glad that you enjoyed your stay and would come again.
Misty Morning has ample level parking to off-load the 3 vehicles and 3 motorcycles we brought. Front door entrance is protected from wind and there are decks with full-on view of Grandfather Mountain. Kitchen was well stocked and beds comfortable.
We took some of our grown children for a weekend away and the house was perfect. Everyone enjoyed meals and games around the table, the hot tub was just what the doctor ordered after an amazing hike, and even our dogs found comfort in the beds provided and the beautiful backyard. The house is quiet and the stars at night were amazing, but we were close enough to enjoy amenities in Blowing Rock and Boone. Comfy beds, well-appointed kitchen, all the necessary comforts of home.
The home was just as described and well-appointed with necessities. Everything 'worked' which isn't always the case in rental properties. The hot tub was a huge hit. The upper master was perfect for my elderly father's convenience, and everyone took notice of the cool antler chandelier. The ONLY suggestion I might make is that the home is rather dimly lit. The bedrooms in particular need brighter bulbs or more powerful fixtures/lamps. Would definitely recommend this property.

Thank you for your kind words! We'd be happy to have you back, and we're glad y'all enjoyed your stay.
Wonderful home very close to downtown Blowing Rock. We stayed for four nights and would do so again; more than enough space for a family of four, and easy-to-operate gas fireplaces on both floors were appreciated. Some nits: (1) we would have appreciated a few more towels (you might want to supplement with a few of your own if you're a big group); and (2) it felt like the property hadn't been used in a while (e.g., surprising amount of dead bugs throughout the house, and the outdoor deck was covered in leaves and the outdoor furniture was too dirty to use - but we did come smack in the middle of Fall and not long after Hurricane Helene so maybe that's too be expected). Overall this was a generally positive experience and I would stay here again.

Thanks, Jonathan. I am sorry that there were a few problems with the outdoor spaces. This was right after the Helene weekend and we were truly still reeling from the storm. I assure you in normal circumstances, the deck would have been fully cleaned before your arrival.
We rented Misty Morning for a girls’ weekend getaway, and our experience was nothing short of magical, with a perfect blend of tranquility and adventure. The house was easily accessible, clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for our stay. We spent every morning sipping coffee on the back deck taking in the amazing mountain views, and nights around the farmhouse table enjoying the lovely fireplace. The house is just far enough from town to feel secluded, but a short drive to shopping, restaurants, and the grocery store, and less than an hour from Boone and Linville area. I highly recommend this home for any group of friends or family seeking a rejuvenating getaway where adventure and relaxation seamlessly intertwine.
Fantastic location and incredible view of grandfather mt
6 of us came up from Florida to hike grandfather mt and see blowing rock/boone during the last weekend in October and could not believe the incredible sunset, fall colors, and view of grandfather mountain from the Misty Morning home. Parking was easy as same height as road - other homes have a large dip down to parking. House was clean, spacious, and appropriately supplied. getting to the mt was easy from this spot and the hot tub came in handy after the hike. Loved the gas fireplaces and grill - Had our own steak dinner using the grill when restaurants were overbooked with halloween crowd. Hope to come back some time - blowing rock and boone are such fun mt towns!
There was not a place to plug the TV into, as there weren't many outlets. Given the size, the limited number of towels was inappropriate. The lighting was so sparse and the lightbulbs so dim it made it difficult to do anything at night. The house had not been properly cleaned there was a lot of dust and the manager did not notify us that a rug was going to be delivered during our stay. balcony was messy, and there w
