Wonderful home.
This was our second stay at this lovely home. Jennifer was extremely easy to work with and made sure we had everything we needed. The location was perfect. Right on Main St but extremely quiet and private. We can't wait to return.

Extended family had a great time. Owners were very easy to work with throughout the entire process. Excellent location!
Having two living rooms was super convenient.
We truly enjoyed this quaint, perfectly located cottage. The cottage was well equipped and the large backyard area was beautiful. Jennifer was a great communicator. We hope to be lucky enough to rent this sweet nest again!

Comfortable and well located make for a perfect vacation
Wow - this is truly a gem in Ogunquit. The central location means everything is walkable if you want to leave your car parked. The home was comfortable and well kept - there was plenty of space both inside and outside. I was a bit sad I didn't get to meet Jennifer in person so I could thank her as she is definitely someone who cares about her rental properties - we were provided with everything necessary to ensure a great vacation.

our best Ogunquit rental yet!
This is a very lovely home! You can't tell it's rich history from the outside, but as soon as you walk in, you can see it! Beautifully restored, with a lot of charm. The yard is big enough to play family yard games without bothering neighbors, and with a firepit to roast marshmallows for summertime smores! A great home for families with children of various ages. And it's location was just right for us....close to just about everything we like to visit. The owners do a great job keeping it well maintained for their guests.

We had a great time at this beautiful old and renovated house right in the middle of town. It has charming old floor boards and three (not for use) fireplaces. It was a comfort to hear from the property manager that they follow Maine Certified Safe guidelines for cleanliness. While at the start we did not have the correct phone number to text the property manager she did respond promptly to our questions once we reached her and assisted us with the correct Wifi password (which had been in correctly noted in the house). Yes! Ww would stay here again in a heartbeat and recommend it to others.

5 Gals from Texas had a yippee good time!!
We had a fabulous time! The house was great! Perfect location, very clean, cozy, and comfortable! We had everything that we needed. We can't wait to go back! The beach was beautiful, Perkins Cove was fun, we visited Sugarbush Farms, an apple orchard, Nubble Light House, two headlights, saw some covered bridges, and the fall foliage was beautiful! The shops in Ogunquit were so fun! We felt like we were in a Hallmark movie. We had a fantastic time! The only thing we feel we need to pass on to others is, these people do not eat lunch out! Hee! We often had difficulty finding places open at lunchtime to eat. But, the places that we ended up finding were great!

Perfect location for beach/shopping getaway
There is lots to recommend about this property. You can leave your car in the driveway and in less than five minutes walk to Ogunquit center for shopping, restaurants, supplies; five more minutes and you're at Ogunquit beach. Rainy day during all that sunshine? Hop in your car and within 20 minutes you're at the outlets in Kittery. If you like to knit or quilt, you can stop by two independently-owned shops along the way: The Yarn Seller, in York; and Knight's Quilt Shop, in Cape Neddick. Tired of Ogunquit beach? That's impossible, but you will be a short car ride away from Wells, Kennebunkport, and York, and all of the restaurants, shops, and sites each location offers.
The house is meticulously clean, charming, homey. There's a patio deck off of the kitchen that's great for morning coffee and the paper, and dinner. While situated right on the main road, one would never know it when sitting on the back deck, or in the house. The yard has a fire pit, which was used one night to toast marshmallows. You can appreciate the history of the home, while at the same time be grateful for the air conditioning, ceiling fans, and other modern amenities.
Would recommend this property for folks who want a little bit of everything out of their stay in Maine. It's great for small families, girls' weekends, traveling with parents (as was my situation).
The owner, Jen, was great to work with. Thanks, Jen!

We had a lovely time and the property was very nice considering considering the price however we did kind of have a lot of rules I thought for instance stripping the bed since there's made service anyway we weren't really sure why that was necessary for us to do. In any event it was a small thing and we really had a great time Jennifer and her husband were so nice and welcoming.
The cottage was a good home base, close to shops, The Greenery Bakery, nice walks, and restaurants. The house had all the amenities we needed and was very cozy for our fall trip.

Perfect location!
The house was perfectly located and in walking distance of everything. It was clean and well kept and suited our needs. However, the description of a fully stocked kitchen is a bit exaggerated. Plenty of dishes, pots and pans but only 2 ‘complimentary’ dishwasher tabs, 1 roll of toilet paper and paper towels (the ones left for us were more than half gone), no laundry detergent or plastic goods, etc. While I’ve never rented a house without these items, I don’t have an issue with needing them but I would have liked to know before we got there. The “rules” should have been sent prior to our stay. We could have brought all that stuff with us. Instead, our first morning, which should have been spent at the beach, was spent at the grocery store. Also, ‘central air’ was more like center air with one ductless unit in the living area and none in any of the bedrooms. Again, the location beat everything but it would have been better to know the rest.
We loved being able to walk to the beach and really anywhere we wanted in Ogunquit. The beach taxi and trolley made even Perkin's Cove not really require a car. There were a couple aspects of getting settled that surprised us - like putting sheets on the bed - but Jennifer was able to help us out quickly.
Absolument parfait pour un séjour en famille. La maison est située en plein cœur d'Ogunquit. Tout est à distance de marche: la plage, le Marginal Way, les restos et boutiques. On a adoré.
Couldn't ask for better location in Ogunquit. We walked to town, to the beach, to restaurants...super convenient. Wifi and cable TV worked wonderful, washer/dryer and beach cart made beach life easier, sufficient parking, nice yard.
However, all mattresses need to be replaced due to age and wear. Owner said they will be replaced soon. And extra set of towels per bathroom would have been worth it. Couch in living room had ripped cushion - needs to be replaced.
Owner was always accessible - replaced leaking coffee pot same day.
Location great, house clean, owner responded quickly to our request. Our criticism concerned maintenance issues. The kitchen faucet handle leaked and new box springs and mattresses are needed.
My wife, I and our three teenagers had a great time and will come back!

Ogunquit vacation
The property was in a great location downtown where you can walk to all shops and restaurants. On the day of arrival, we sat in the driveway until 4:00 thinking that someone was going to meet us. At 4:00 I called the property owner and no answer. We finally decided to give the door a try and found that it was unlocked. So we entered and found instructions to text the property owner when we arrived. In the master bathroom there as a note on the toilet that seat was broken and plumber had been called. This was not taken care of until Wednesday and we checked in on Saturday.
We found the sheets in the closet to make the beds. One bed the fitted sheet did not fit so it was good that we brought a few in case. Beds could use some updating as they were not comfortable.
We found that the overall house could have been cleaner. The pillows, cushions on the 2 chairs in the Livingroom and the rugs on the bathroom floors had to be washed so we put them all in the washing machine. Livingroom carpet and couch could also use a cleaning. We brought sheets to cover all the furniture and happy we did. Drawers that held the pots and pans and silverware was also dirty. DVD player was in a closet not hooked up to the TV so we could not use it.
In addition we were told that the lawn would be cut during our stay with advanced notice and our garbage would be emptied on Saturday. Got text late Saturday that they were coming at 7AM on Sunday to take care of the lawn. I asked if the garbage had been removed and no reply. Finally I sent another text on Monday as the trash was overflowing and we finally got a response stating it would be taken care of that day.
The most disappointing was the outdoor gas grill. We checked in on Saturday and were expecting company on Sunday . We opened the grill on Sunday morning to check it out. It took my husband and brother in law 2 hours to clean it. It had about 2 inches of water and grease.
For the amount of money that we paid, these issues should not have occurred. Overall, we made the best of it and did some of our own cleaning.

Hello Lisa,
This is an unfortunate and disappointing review. First of all, I personally supervise & clean the rental and have done so for the past 5 years! I'm shocked at what you wrote! I would never use COVID 19 as an excuse but due to the extremely low work pool, due to the HIGH unemployment, from yes, COVID19, we have had to to double/triple duty in all our full time jobs. WE lost all June and July rentals...thinking the whole summer would be lost but then we got the go-ahead, with very little notice from our Governor So we did our best. Our thought was instead of taking the $$$ we decided as a family if we could give people time away from this crazy virus and help make their summer a little bit normal . My husband and I attended the Maine Hospitality classes and passed all safety courses for lodging. Every inch of the house was sanitized and cleaned with good old elbow grease! As for The living room carpet is 2 years old, unfortunately when renting to families with small ones they do get slightly abused but, again upon check out I sprayed and scrub the carpets down best I could. The toilet seat, was brought to my attention by the previous renters at check out September 5th. I called the plumber immediately ( on a Saturday) and he got back to me with in 48hours/ sufficient and I appreciated his QUICK response, He too is OVERWHELM with the work an NO help and tried to get in to fix the problem on Tuesday but you were out golfing and I would never allow a plumber or any other service person in without renter approval, he kindly redid his schedule and came when it was convenient for you and your schedule. I also apologized to you about the trash removal. We rarely have a two week stay, mostly week to week and it slipped my mind. I am sorry to hear about the gas grill! This shocking to me considering hat grill was delivered in mid JULY, bran new!
I have never had such a negative review, however I did give you 5 start for leaving the house in good standings. Looking back at our few text conversation, I do believe you had ample opportunity to mention all the above, however you did not! NOT even a reply to me on the morning of your check out, when I texted you a "Thank You" & " Hope you enjoyed your stay" To me, this review is a RED FLAG for YOU!
I will be contacting VRBO to revoke my review on you. I feel Owners should be aware of renters like you.
