The house was very clean and had everything we needed! The fenced in back yard was a huge bonus for us and our dogs loved it. The host sent a friendly and detailed message before check in which was very appreciated, and was quick to respond. We would absolutely stay here again!
We had a great stay in Asheville! Location of house was convenient to highway and also many restaurants. House was quaint and had everything we needed. Steep driveway, but it’s paved so we got up no problem. Loved the fenced in yard for the dog!
Really enjoyed our long weekend in the Asheville area. Lots of extras provided by host such as games, puzzles, fire pit, slip ‘n slide; well stocked seasonings & condiments; cleaning & laundry supplies, etc. Home was very clean and functional with solid WiFi signal. Loved the securely fenced yard for our pets. Only concern was a somewhat questionable neighborhood but house sits up on a hill for nice privacy.
Home was advertised, and had all the kitchen and bathroom item's anyone could ask for and more. We loved how comfortable the beds were. Decorated nicely, and liked the live plant's. We've rented a lot of homes thru vrbo, and I would highly recommend this rental to everyone. 2 full comfortable bedrooms, a pullout sofa in the living room and a futon. Could sleep 8, but very comfortable up to 4 people.
A lot of fun things to do within 10-15 minutes, arts district, downtown, good food choices, pubs, breweries. Live music everywhere daily. We even went to see our host (DeDe) play with her band. They're fantastic, really enjoyed listening to them.
45-60 minute drive and I was fishing in the mountains, and caught trout (5-10) all 3 days I fished. Loved our trip to Asheville.
Fantastic little house high up in the hills of West Asheville. I did not come to NC on vacation, I came for Hurricane relief (veterinary) so I can say I didn't spend a whole lot of time in the house, but it was wonderful to come home to after a long day. Very functional, especially the kitchen with everything you could possibly need. I needed a place with washer/dryer as the world of veterinary medicine is a messy one and these worked great. Every detail was taken care of in the house and the bed was the most comfortable bed I've slept on! I had 2 working dogs with me and they LOVED that the back door opened directly into an escape proof yard. The host even had pet supplies at the ready! There were posts about the neighborhood; I had no problems and you are tucked so high up on a hill there isn't a soul around to bother you. Every day I left in the dark and came home in the dark and never once felt unsafe. The host was gracious and easy to contact. She kept me up to date with the boil water advisory, outages, etc. Highly recommended place! Would love to visit again, but next time for fun and not disaster relief.

West Asheville has got everything you need! Explore downtown, the River District, and the South Slope, and then come on over to the wonderful Haywood Rd corridor in West Avl and see how the locals live!
What makes this property unique
I believe in providing hospitality from a locals perspective, I keep my rates affordable, and as an avid STR traveler myself, I create lodging that I would personally choose, and I tend to the listing myself regularly, as I live close by. I also love dogs and so far have had great Dog guests!
