The Artic house was very clean and had all of the necessary essentials. The walk to the beach was very short and had many restaurants nearby in walking distance. We really enjoyed our stay.
We enjoyed our stay in Virginia Beach. The location was very convenient for us to be able to walk to the Sports Center. Everything was clean and the beds were very comfortable. I only have 2 things that I would have liked to be better: the communication and the parking. I tried to reach out to the text number provided since we had issues with the tv but I didn't get a response. The parking was very tight and a pain to use. I would stay here again though so it wasn't a deal breaker.
The house was clean, the property manager was nice and flexible, and the location was ideal. We were in town for an event at the convention center and it was super easy to get back and forth from there either driving, walking or on bicycle. Similarly the beach and all that VA Beach has to offer was a short drive/walk/bike away. Once the dome construction is completed, this is going to be an even more ideal location. (And the construction wasn’t a hindrance to our stay at all). Would definitely recommend this place and come back again if our travels take us here!
Quite neighborhood with plenty of shops near by. Short walk to the beach! And it is just around the corner from The Dome. There weren’t any planned events the weekend we were here so we cant say what the traffic is like after a show. But otherwise low traffic area. Loved the place
Great property as promised, the Vibe District was nice, with a cute Farmers Market on Saturday. The commutation from this property manager was amazing!! Great stay!!
We had a wonderful experience staying in the Arctic Cottage! It was perfect for our weekend with daughter, SIL and 22 mo old to attend a wedding weekend. We chose it based on price, location and the ample amount of space and bathrooms. It was nicely remodeled and clearly cared for. The kitchen was well equipped for simple meals (bring your own spices), the beds were comfortable and the host was a good communicator. We would gladly stay here again!
I stayed here while working on the construction 2 blocks away. Very convenient. Walked to a variety of different restaurants every night. Very tight parking for large vehicles.
Owner was very responsive and the pictures were accurate. There was plenty of room for 6 people though parking was a bit tight. Close to the convention center and beach. Will book again if we ever come back to Virginia Beach.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Arctic Cottage! It was very clean and well stocked with all the essentials. Parking was tight and there was a lot of construction going on in the area, but it was still a great location in easy walking distance to the beach and lots of restaurants. Would definitely recommend!
House was just as described. It was a great location. Traveled with older teen/young adults. There was plenty for them to do. Once parked, you could walk to everything. Only needed to drive to do some grocery shopping. Would stay here again.
We enjoyed our stay. The house is older but nicely updated. Great spot and Host was great. She helped me with my “user error”booking and she got it all straightened out. There were no issues with the home. One note, side door from driveway is entry door. It’s referred to as back door vice being the front door. There are 2 doors back there. Th
Overall the property was nice. Parking was however very tight. Technically room for three spots but we could barely fit three vehicles because of the angles in the back of the home.
The house was clean and nice .
Recommend bedrooms have curtains for future guests !

Arctic House Review
Neighborhood and house were more rundown and seedy than expected. Kitchen was a bright spot, as it had been recently remodeled, no issues there. Bedrooms and living areas were dated and dingy. Decided not to use one of the beds as the linens were dirty. Small bath is barely functional since there is no counter space, no fan, and mirror was crammed into a corner since there is no wall space. It’s a very old house with lots of old fixtures. It smells musty like an old house. My family was uncomfortable staying there. Woke up after first night to a dead/dying roach on the dining room floor and left shortly thereafter, cutting short our stay.
