Quiet family area. Peaceful relaxing spot in Historical Cape Vincent with views of the St. Lawrence River & Carleton Island! The cottage is a short ride to the villages of Cape Vincent & the hopping town of Clayton. It’s a short Ferry ride to Canada for the day.
Enjoy morning coffee on the large front deck shaded by huge trees w/ views of the farms or watch the boats go by with beautiful sunset views from the rear spacious deck.
Room to play in the large, partially fenced yard with fire pit. Plenty of parking at the cottage for your RV or Boat. If boating and fishing are your thing, there are multiple marinas within minutes. Nothing better than a day out on the water!
The cottage has three bedrooms, a sunroom and eat in kitchen. Both decks have umbrellas and set up for relaxation and BBQ.

Cape Vincent & Clayton are a short ride away. Wolf Island and Kingston, Canada are just an auto Ferry ride from Cape Vincent.
Ontario's historic City of Kingston features a drive across the picturesque Wolfe Island, the largest in the archipelago.
In the Village. throughout the summer there are numerous events that take place on the Village Green such as, weekly music, car shows, historic reenactment, French Festival, family day & Oktoberfest. Stroll along the main street and take in the small-town vibe.
Cape Vincent Historical Museum is set in an elegant stone building which was barracks for soldiers during War of 1812. Nearby, in a gristmill, explore the underwater life of the 1000 Islands at the Cape Vincent Fisheries Station and Aquarium.
Visit Historic Tibbets Point Lighthouse where Lake Ontario
empties into the St. Lawrence River. There is a visitor's center, museum & gift shop.
There are many award-winning wineries in the region for wine tours with wine tasing rooms. Nearby, The Cape Winery is rated 4.3 stars and Coyote Moon Vineyards in Clayton is 4.4 stars.
We are a 25-minute drive to the ferry's that take you to Boldt Castle & Millionaires Row.

Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Put one set keys in the lockbox and others leave on the kitchen table.
Please make sure all garbage is double bagged and put in the cans next to the shed. Recycling (cans & bottles) go into recycle can next to shed.
This is our first year renting the cottage. We have worked hard to make your stay at the river cottage a pleasant one. We hope to see a good review on VRBO.

I'm from NJ and FL. I have had a love affair with the Thousand Islands for many years but only visited. I recently purchased and am so excited to spend time in Cape Vincent at my own place. I will share it with you!
Why they chose this property
Residential quiet area surrounded by farms, silo's, big barns, wide street and gorgeous water views. Swimming, fishing nearby throughout CV at end of each street. It is public property.

What makes this property unique
Family area, big lot for boats and cars. Room for kids and pets to roam and relax on the spacious decks. One in front overlooking farms and one on the back with views of the River.
