Charming cottage with scenic surroundings. Very clean. Lori was responsive to any inquiries I had. Watkinsville is a lovely small community with friendly people. Also close to Athens if you are going to a game. The only bad part was that our team got destroyed by the bulldogs and we were embarrassed to wear our gear to dinner afterward. Shameful defeat.
Absolutely stunning place! It’s decorated well and feels so inviting and tranquil. Plus, the tub in the master is the tub of dreams. Everything was super clean. Lori is hands down one of the most communicative hosts I’ve ever dealt with. She checked in, was quick to respond, and truly made me feel welcome. I plan on exclusively booking this place for all my future trips.
This was the perfect spot to stay for my bf’s dad’s funeral as he lived in Watkinsville . The cottage was clean, very charming and so quiet and cozy. Loved the screened porch for tea in the mornings. Hope to return for longer and for more uplifting reasons.
We found this lovely, cute home a perfect choice for our stay. The location was great and within walking distance to several restaurants. The house is loaded with charm and the neighbor was quiet. It works perfectly for two couple.
The home and property were very warm and inviting. A stately feel of class and charm was very welcoming in the quiet neighborhood in downtown Watkinsville.
The house is lovely. The host was totally accommodating and was able to provide everything that I needed to be able to bake for Thanksgiving. Lovely accomodations. Downstairs bathroom is a bit eclectic but it was all terrific!
We loved our time in Watkinsville. It was the perfect small town close to Athens. We really enjoyed all the small shops and local business owners we met. We really loved Wire Park and all the restaurants there. We had a great conversation with the owners of Publica Coffee and learned about their roasting process. We hope to visit again when we're in the area. Georgia is such a friendly place!
This was a very cute cottage! It also was very well stocked with coffee items and trash bags, etc. Too often, properties leave you with lots of staples you have to buy like toilet paper, coffee filters, and trash bags. We were only there for one night, so it was nice to have those items on hand. I wish I’d had more time to walk in the gardens, etc on the property. I’ve lived in this community for 30 years and always admired this pretty little cottage on the hill. It is just as pretty on the inside.
