About this property

The second and third floor of the house (part of a three story building) is rented by Lafayette’s Oceanfront Resort at Wells Beach so you have all of the comforts of staying at a large resort while enjoying a private home. Registered guests of the cottage will have use of the indoor heated pool, a 20-foot long hot tub with a waterfall, wireless internet, a fitness room and computers with Internet access in the lobby, and of course you are only steps from beautiful Wells Beach.

General Description: Have all the conveniences of home while on vacation. This two-story home features an open concept kitchen/dining/living area with fireplace and gourmet kitchen. The second story has hardwood flooring throughout, while the bathrooms are all tiled.

Bed & Bath: There are three bedrooms. The master bedroom on the second level has a king bed, twin bed and 42' LCD TV. Down the hall you will find a spacious master bath with a rain shower, two sinks and large linen closet. The second level also has an additional half bath located off of the pantry. The third floor has two bedrooms, one of which has two queen sized beds, the other with a double/twin bunk and twin with trundle.

Policy: The cottage has cable TV, and a grill. Bed linens and kitchen utensils are included. Guests must bring their own toiletries (towels, soap, shampoo, toilet paper, paper towels etc). Two free parking spots are available, additional vehicles will be required to pay an additional charge to park in an overflow lot. There are no pets allowed at anytime. Daily housekeeping service is not included but there will be daily trash removal. Check in time is 4pm, check out time is at 11am.

Great house literally steps from the beach

We had a great week in Wells! The house is spacious and my husband and I appreciated having all of the teens/ young adults upstairs while we had some privacy and quiet downstairs. For this pricy rental, I would have wanted beach chairs on site. I also have never rented a place that didn’t have one bit of toilet paper or hand soap upon arrival. We did appreciate all the games and puzzles on site! Overall, location was fabulous and would definitely rent again.

Great vacation house

This house was great for our stay in Wells. The upstairs perfectly accommodated a family of five with three children. The location is closer to the beach than I expected and easily accessible to Newburyport. The only inconvenience was that no towels are provided. Enough towels for 7 people would be hard to pack if arriving by air! Otherwise, loved everything about it and would book again.

Beautiful house & location

This house is beautiful and located in a great quiet neighborhood, just steps to the beach. Use of the pool & hot tub was an added bonus. 4 parking spots were included with the rental which was great however having to go to the office each time to register each vehicle was kind of a pain if you have 10+ people arriving at different times throughout the stay. The only other issue we had was that there was less than 1/2 roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and a pretty much empty roll of paper towels provided when we arrived. The dish soap and hand soap bottles were also empty, and no hand towels were provided. We had to immediately go back to the store to buy these items. The listing does say no linens provided, however, I have never had to provide my own hand towels or paper goods in a rental. Overall it was a great stay and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Would definitely rent again!

Beautiful Home

This home was beautiful. We arrived to find the home spotless!!! Great accomodations for our family of 13 and in a great location. We enjoyed our stay so much that we booked it for 2 weeks next year.
