Off of the kitchen, is the first bathroom, which has a claw foot bath/shower. There is a closet with washer and dryer available for guest's use just outside the bathroom.
On the other side of the kitchen, you will take a few steps down into the great room which features a wood burning fireplace, cozy seating, and a wall of windows that will take your breath away.
The stairs leading down from the great room will take you to a bedroom with a queen bed and walkout patio to the creek and forest beyond.
Making your way up the stairs from the great room, you will find the master suite featuring a sitting room with a desk/work space, pellet stove, large closet, and private balcony. The staircase in the master takes you up to the loft where you will find the king bed.
The adjoining bathroom features a double headed shower. Just down the hallway, is another bedroom with a queen bed.
The home also has multiple patios- off the master suite, downstairs bedroom, kitchen, and living room. The garage can be accessed by the side door and features a game room with ping pong table & treadmill. (pool table coming soon!)
Sitting on almost 2 acres of forest, the home has a very private feel. The deck off the great room overlooks the creek that runs alongside the back of the home and sets the mood for a very peaceful retreat.
Other things to note You must have 4WD and proper snow traction to travel to this property during the snow season from October to May. Please do not book this property if you are not prepared to equip your vehicle for winter uphill driving conditions. Stranded vehicles are dangerous and extremely difficult to deal with in winter on the mountain. During the summer months, this property is up a long and windy dirt road and 4WD/AWD is still recommended.

This extraordinary cabin sits on beautiful, forested land that enveloped us in mountain magic! Elevated, eclectic, beautiful decor and thoughtful amenities create a rich, welcoming environment, and the professional management was first-class. Bring your longing for rest, your 4WD vehicle, and your favorite book for a very memorable retreat.
We had the most amazing stay at this gorgeous cabin. The pictures do this property justice, and you’ll get exactly what you see. The morning coffee on the deck, coupled with the gorgeous view of the forest made our trip! Couldn’t recommend more. If you don’t mind being a little ways from town, this will be the perfect place to stay.

Erin- we are so glad that you enjoyed your stay. It is the perfect place to unwind in the woods! We hope to have you back someday.
Wow! We were absolutely blown away by our stay at this lovely property. The pictures do not do it justice, and it was huge in person! Plenty of space to sleep all 6 of us. Everything was so clean and the host made sure you had any item you needed. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and items to cook with. The garage even has a pool and ping pong table so we were never bored. The location was also great, only a 20min drive into town. We loved the style of the home and everything, down to the cute stream outside, was so charming! Britta was great with communication and quick to respond whenever i had a question. Would highly recommend this to anyone looking to get away and have a relaxing time!

Thank you Jessi! So glad that you enjoyed your stay!
This is an absolutely beautiful home. Lots of room and lots of peace and quiet. The only things that kept us from giving 5 stars have to do with getting around. It is very high up on a mountain. It took us about 20 minutes to make the climb on both paved and gravel roads from the highway. Another caution is for older or handicapped folks. The house has several levels. I loved the “pond”, stream and wildlife. There’s a ping pong table and a billiard table in the finished garage. The owners were helpful and very responsive to questions too.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication
Disliked: Location
Hidden far away.
This house was clean, quiet and comfortable. The host was very responsive to inquiries. On the other hand, this house is very remote. It takes 25 minutes to get up the hill to the house. I have a good car but I lost traction 3 times getting up there. My boyfriend was in a 4WD truck and we used that the whole time. It is not convenient if you want to do activities during the day, then come home to shower and go back out to dinner. It just takes too long to get up and down that hill.
