This is a charming Victorian home with oh-so-much charm! The home was well-equipped so that we had everything we needed to enjoy a few days with extended family. The gardens were beautiful and the yard was a great place for kids to run and play. It was fun to imagine the history of the home and see all the wonderful details of the architecture. This is definitely a home we would go back to.

This home and yard are spacious and conveniently located! There are plenty of outdoor sitting options and a nice kitchen for food prep! The bedrooms are well appointed and comfortable. For a historic home the AC is top notch! You’ll have no trouble sleeping cool even in the hottest weather with individually controlled AC in each bedroom.

My family and I loved this property! Everything was just as was stated on VRBO. We enjoyed the backyard/fire pit and played games on the large dining room table. We would definitely stay here again

We had a wonderful stay - the house was a perfect size for our group of 7, kitchen was well stocked with dishes/cookware, and we absolutely loved the yard!! The only disappointment was that the 5th bedroom with the bunk beds does not have a door or an air conditioner (it’s essentially the laundry room), so we had to rearrange our sleeping plan and have more people in a room than we would have liked. Other than that, it was a great stay!

The AC did not work in all of the bedrooms, we had 7 people so it was hard to be together in one room, lots of space but rooms were broken up. I completely I grew up in a home that was of the same era. We actually ate dinners outside which worked out well.

High school girls get away

Younger Family

Great place! Even our younger grandchildren were in awe of such a beautiful home! The backyard is so large, the kids could burn off energy while the old folks sat by the fire and enjoyed the time together.We are already planning on a 2026 visit to Lake City and will look to staying at this location again!
