Enjoy your Kona adventure from a light filled, spacious, 2BD, ocean-view condo overlooking Keauhou Bay. Includes free use of pools, hot tubs, pickleball-tennis courts and bbqs. Relax on one of the three lanais while listening to the sounds of the waves.

For Triathletes: Easy access to iconic Big Island road rides and Ironman routes. Secure indoor bike storage at the entryway. Bike pump, basic tools, and rags available

Kanaloa at Kona is an idyllic tropical oasis located on a point of land and surrounded by He`eia Bay, the Pacific Ocean and the Kona Country Club Ocean Golf Course. It is rated by many as the `BEST` complex in Kailua-Kona.

Rooms and Amenities
This top unit with vaulted ceilings has 15 outside steps, 15 stairs to the main floor and 13 stairs to the loft/master bedroom. For sleeping accommodations, there are two large bedrooms: The top floor houses the master suite with a king size bed, en-suite bathroom and walk-in shower. The main floor bedroom has both a queen and a twin bed. Both bedrooms have their own private lanai, each with ocean views. The bathtub/shower on the main floor has grab bars. There is also a queen size pull out sofa in the living room. The living room has a recliner chair and smart TV with access to streaming channels. The large living room/dining room has an ocean view with a spacious lanai/balcony. The main lanai provides a large dining table. The kitchen is fully outfitted with everything you need to prepare a simple snack to a gourmet meal.

Each room has 1-2 fans and individual A/C Split Ductless systems

Family Getaway Kanaloa Style

Our stay was fantastic in many different ways. Our family likes doing different activities and there was a lot to do staying here. Our children got to venture out and go to three different pools and they had a blast. Us adults got to relax on the lanai, grill right next to our condo, and we got to take long walks along the beach and grounds. All in all a great place to stay. It helped so much with the two beds and two baths!

Spectacular!

My husband and I and two teenage boys stayed at this beautiful property for 8 nights. The condo was super clean and is stocked with everything you could possibly in the kitchen and to enjoy the tennis courts and beach. Love the tile and stonework in the bathrooms and we enjoyed coffee on the balcony overlooking the bay.

Great week in Kona at Turtle House!

My family had a great week at Turtle House. Plenty of space, well stocked kitchen, great location, and the most comfortable beds I’ve slept in on vacation! The pools and hot tubs were close by and one had a great view. Loved having coffee in the morning on the deck overlooking the bay. We would definitely stay here again!

Great stay in Kona

First time to Kona with my family of 5. Condo was bright, clean and very comfortable. Good location and came with a few perks like beach and snorkeling gear. Spent a few afternoons at the ocean pool, great spot to relax and watch the waves.

Our family of four stayed here in early June and it was fabulous. Everything was turn key and we loved the proximity to the cove and the pools as well as a supermarket. It was helpful to have boogie boards and beach toys for the house. The space was a delight! Note, not an issue for us, but if stairs give you a problem, pack light!

Lovely place!

We all truly enjoyed our stay at the turtle house. It was the perfect place for our family. The location was great. Close enough to Kona for the fun of the town but far enough away to feel a bit secluded. The place is stocked with everything you need for a beach vacation including towels and shovels and pails. Very comfortable beds. The pools are fantastic and there is a tennis court which I didn’t think mattered until my son decided to pick up a new sport. We enjoyed our time so much, that we were all a bit sad to leave. Highly recommend and will go back if we are lucky enough to head back Kona!

We love the turtle house!

Beautiful view out of 3 different lanais. Close to coffee country and the best snorkeling I’ve ever done. Spacious and well stocked with everything we needed. We will be staying here again! My only suggestion is to replace the door knob as it was difficult to open.

Our host, Stacey, was very responsive and accommodating. We loved both the gorgeous view and the lovely condo. Thoughtful touches such as spices and bathroom items were comprehensive, as were all the kitchen supplies. We truly wished we had booked this spot for longer!

The condo was in a good location, close to several beaches and downtown. Stacey was an amazing source of information. She had a complete list of activities both on VRBO and a very thorough folder in the house. She also was very helpful with questions. The condo was beautiful and had all the amenities needed.

Great views. Loved the pools.

My daughters and I rented 3 condos in this resort. All three condos were different and very nice. The Turtle House was unique with the lovely master bedroom on the third floor. I loved this room, and claimed that as my room. Hopefully when you read this review they will replace the folding beach chairs. I would come back to the Turtle House in the future

Wonderful stay!

Our group of 4, stayed in Stacey's beautiful condo for a month. After a day of exploring the island, beaching and/or diving coming back to a well stocked, clean, and comfortable home was fantastic. We liked the floor plan. The lanais off each bedroom provided a space for each couple to have quiet time and the common area was great for chats, games, food, and drink. Stacey is an excellent host. She is easy to contact and to chat with. I whole-heartedly recommend this property. Thanks!

Spacious quiet bay view

We enjoy Kanaloa condos. Seeing the bay off the nicely shaded main deck was nice. Each bedroom also had a deck. There were some kitchen seasonings and beach gear. No mats or beach chairs. We only missed a few more small size glasses and bowls because for four people we went through them too quickly for dishwasher. Condo pool and sports amenities nice. Drop in pickleball Wednesday nights. For an upper loft unit it did stay a little cooler with fans than some other loft units.

This property was great. Very clean. Very nice decor. Full compliment of everything you need: full kitchen with nice cook ware, boogie boards, etc... When we were there, there was a dengue fever issue on the Island, so we didn't spend a lot of time on the deck. But the living room deck has a nice view of the bay. Not a sweeping view of the ocean, but plenty nice. The ocean view pool is next level nice. The condo is 5-10 minutes drive from Kona. Dealing with the owner was an absolute joy. That in itself would be enough for me to re-book here I'm not one throw around a 5 star rating lightly, but this was definitely a 5 star stay for us. I'll be checking back next year for my return trip to the big island.

Wonderful

The property was even better than I anticipated. The variety of beach gear was wonderful. The home was very comfortable. Each lanai has a slightly different view and shade at different times of the day. In the morning, I drank coffee in different locations, depending on the position of the sun. the complex amenities were terrific. We watched whales from the Oceanside pool. I was a bit surprised that the master bedroom has a large opening (“window” or loft-like feel). This probably helped with airflow, but I was unable to turn any kitchen or living room lights on when I woke up earlier than my husband. Thankfully, the weather was perfect for me to sit on the lanai instead. We would definitely recommend this property and hope to return in the future.

Two Week Stay

Host: Excellent communicator and very flexible. Allowed us to extend our check out time (did her best to accommodate our flight schedule). Location: The condo is situated by a small bay with a small beach where you can start snorkeling right away. It’s a 3 minute walk to the beach. Bring reef shoes. There is also a grocery store within walking distance where you can get all you may need. About 1/2 mile away. Condo: There are three levels. Entry, Main, Upper bedroom, so you will need to be ok with stairs. There are three decks. Kitchen was well stocked. Board games were fun. All rooms are specious and well appointed. Lots of turtles incorporated into decor. We saw many turtles at various beaches we visited. There are 3 boogie boards that were probably left by prior guests. They are not in great shape but the kids managed to have fun regardless. We enjoyed playing tennis and also used all three pools that are available. You are also able to borrow tennis rackets from the club house free of charge but they are not in great shape. If you are a tennis pro, best to bring your own. Lastly, there is a gas gill right outside the building. We used it quite a bit. Overall we had a wonderful experience and would come back.

Pleasant Stay!

We loved the location and set up of this property. It was convenient and quiet. We had a family of 6 and the pull out sofa was perfect for my dad so he didn’t have to go up the stairs. I think the best thing we really appreciated were all the little details that the owner included such as night lights, beach towels, soy sauce and spices, and other items that made our stay so welcoming. Also it was nice to have a washer/dryer right there. We even had the pool all to ourselves. We had no issues checking in or out. There is no AC but lots of fans and the unit gets pretty cool at night. My family agreed that we would stay here again. Thank you!

What a place!

The 5th time we’ve stayed at Turtlehouse and will be back next year. Friends who have been multiple times say it’s the most homelike unit they have seen and they have come for more than 20 years. Nothing more you can say. It’s likely the best on the island
