We loved this place! Beautiful home in a serene wooded setting, combination of scenic elevated rocky shoreline and low/water access for kayaking or canoeing. 2 Beautiful campfire sites. The hot tub was fantastic and clean. The host was very easy to communicate with and responsive. There were nice personal touches around the house that made it feel very comfortable, such as coffee and all the kitchen basics, laundry and bathroom basic amenities. We had a group of 7 adults, was very roomy and comfortable. Would definitely return to this home.

Our host Jocelyn was awesome! Great communication, great suggestions for everything and responded super promptly. House was very clean and kitchen was well stocked. Great fire pit area. Beds were comfy and views from all bedrooms. The views and setting from the back deck/yard were beautiful. This was a family trip and we along with our adult children and their partners kayaked, hot tub and enjoyed soaking in the scenery! A lot of thoughtful touches, large variety of coffee pods, bottle of local wine & sodas, s’mores kit, etc!! Place is about 35 minutes from Acadia Natl Park and Bar Harbor so just need to plan accordingly. Can’t say enough about the place, just book it! We will be back!

This water front house was absolutely beautiful! Our family enjoyed our stay very much. It is peaceful and has plenty of room for families. The house was spotless. There were all these nice extras in the house that make you feel at home. We enjoyed the game room, hot tub, outdoor fire pit and the property. We saw a bald eagle while we were there. The property is close to Acadia National park and plenty of restaurants in nearby town.

This was out second time being hosted by Jocelyn and we were again very house with our stay. We loved the spaciousness, the cozy fireplace, the complementary blueberry wine and jam, and the fact that we could bring our fur babies with us. We hope to be able to stay longer next time!

A Peaceful Coastal Retreat with Stunning ViewsWe had a wonderful stay at this home on Franklin Road. The property was spotless, comfortable, and perfectly set up to enjoy the beauty of Egypt Bay. We especially loved the many places to sit and take in the scenery from the deck, the swing by the bay, the fire pit on the pointe, or the hot tub, every spot offered an incredible view.The kitchen was well equipped, the first‑floor primary suite was a great feature, and the location was quiet and private while still close to Ellsworth and an easy drive to Acadia. The finished basement also gave everyone plenty of space to relax.We would gladly stay again. Incredible property and just as described! Every detail was attended to including firewood, beach towels, game room, hot tub, kayaks, hammocks, coffee, and s’mores kit. The location is outstanding and it was fun to watch the tide roll in and out. Jocelyn was super attentive and you can tell she really cared about making sure everything was perfect.

The location was absolutely perfect! We all slept really well every night, with the smell of ocean air the light breeze cool morning warmed up to 74 every day with sunshine could’ve asked for a better trip we loved going out for coffee in the morning sitting in the Adirondack chairs right on the Waters edge, watching seagulls, saw an eagle a couple of times, seeing the tide come and go out. It was a magical experience.

Better than I thought, cannot recommend this property and the hosts enough. Only thing worth noting, is you're somewhat close to the highway nearby, so there is some road noise for those that are sensitive. Not a problem for us, and again, this place was better than we expected. Will be coming back next ME visit if they'll have us!

Breathtaking stay!

Our stay at the Eagle’s Eyrie was absolutely incredible and truly one of the best experiences we’ve had. Jocelyn and Ryan were wonderful hosts who were quick to respond and answer every question we had leading up to our trip. The home was immaculate upon arrival - exactly as shown in the listing! This is a very unique property and the hosts have taken advantage of the land creating a very comfortable and enjoyable experience. We had six adults for a hiking trip. There was plenty of room and could have had more. The check-in was easy, and the house was very welcoming. Coffee, s’mores, and firewood were plentiful. The views were beautiful and the layout allowed for both socializing and privacy.

This place was an absolute gem! It was like a dream come true for relaxation. The host was super attentive and made sure everything was spotless. Magical experience

This was absolutely the most beautiful stay away from home we have ever had. Jocelyn is a thoughtful host and has carefully designed the home to be a peaceful retreat in the lap of luxury. The hot tub, yoga deck, kayaks, along with the view had us in peaceful bliss. All the extras provided (blueberry wine, dog biscuit, handwritten card, cooks kitchen, etc) made the stay extra special. Great place for a family or friend retreat!

Perfect Maine getaway

This property was even better than advertised! A quiet oasis along the water that is well isolated from the road and other houses. Close enough to spend time in Acadia and Bar Harbor but enough amenities at the house that you may want to just stay home some of the days. The host was incredible with communication and made sure that we had anything we needed during our stay. Home was set up with extra touches (s’mores kit, local food/drink items, toiletries, etc)- very welcoming for adults, children and pets. My family had an incredible vacation and would absolutely recommend this property :-).
