Buffalo Bungalow: very romantic!

Summary:

Buffalo Bungalow is designed for both relaxation and fun. After a day of exploring the Smokies, soak your cares away in the private hot tub, or unwind in the sauna, letting the warmth melt away stress. For the ultimate in relaxation, take advantage of the massage table—perfect for at-home spa moments or a quiet stretch session after hiking. When it’s time for entertainment, head to the game room, where friendly competition and laughter fill the evenings.



The Space:

While staying at Buffalo Creek we feel you will really enjoy the peace & tranquility of being secluded on 65 acres. So many of our previous guest have wrote back & told us they had all these plans to sight see but then just loved hanging out in the cabin together enjoying the game room & seeing the miniature horse, buffalo, goats & llamas!



Guest Access:

Hiking trails, seeing the bison, llamas, goats, mini horses.



The Neighborhood:

On a 65 acre bison ranch. Can hike around & see:

bison, llamas, alpacas, mini horses, goats.



Also have a playground, tire swing & tetherball.



Getting Around:

Conveniently located just 4 miles off of I-40

Check in is 4:00 pm

Check out is 11:00 am



We are pet friendly, the pet fee is $125 + tax = $140 for the 1st dog & $50 + tax = $56 for the 2nd dog & must be paid directly to Buffalo Creek Vacations after reservation is made.

This is a couples cabin, I am sorry, we do not allow children in Buffalo Bungalow. Please refer to our 6 other properties if you are planning a family trip!

We are just a call away if you need us!



The BC Depot is located behind the red Southern Caboose. Here we have a store, game room & (laundry room for caboose guest).



Agapeland Station is located in the 2nd floor of the depot & has a 30x50 "O" gauge model train layout! Buy your tickets at the BC Depot Store!





You can come down to the buffalo viewing area in the mornings usually between 9:30-10am to see them run in for their morning oats!

We had such a great stay at Buffalo Bungalow! From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming and comfortable. Cheryl was incredibly friendly and wonderful to communicate with, which made the entire experience that much better.One of our favorite things was having the hot tub right outside our suite—it was perfect for relaxing at the end of the day. We also loved the pool table and sauna and definitely made good use of both! There was plenty to enjoy without ever having to leave the property.Buffalo Bungalow was a great place to relax, have fun, and get away for a few days. We really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely come back. Thank you, Cheryl and Buffalo Creek Vacations, for such a wonderful experience!

Awesome getaway

The goats!

The goats and miniature horses came to visit below our back porch most evenings, and feeding them was so much fun! The view was incredible, and it was peaceful and restful. Just a wonderful vacation.

Honeymoon Trip

My husband and I recently got married. We stayed in the buffalo bungalow for our honeymoon. We had a fantastic time! There's plenty there today but the cabin itself is so good, we rarely even left. I highly recommend visiting. We hope to stay again one day.

The Perfect Getaway

What can I say but other then simply perfect. This little bungalow has it all from hot tub on the porch to billiards and even a sauna. If you want a cozy yet almost secret getaway with your loved one, this I can recommend is the place to stay.

Mountain wedding weekend

My wife and I kicked off our honeymoon here after getting married in Waynesville. The bungalow was perfect!! Everything was just as advertised. My brothers & my husband had shared a vision of expanding my fathers buffalo ranch when additional property became available to purchase. With all our knowledge & experiences combine we have built 4 log homes & have been renting them out since 2004. All the furniture in this cabin has been handmade by the wood on the property! Even the covered wagon bed,(in Tatonka Lodge) that was custom built my my father. Once my husband retires from the US Army in about 6 yrs our dream will be to build our log cabin on the property & be more hands on. God has blessed us beyond our wildest dreams. We hope you love the mountains like we have all come to love being transplants from a very flat NY!
