Sheila gave us our 1st 4- star rating despite praising the property for cleanliness, check- in, and location- and I want to offer some context for future guests. Our listing clearly states a no-pet policy, yet a German shepherd was brought without permission, left unattended in the unit, and was seen running loose on the property. The dog caused damage to a window shade, which was eventually covered through the guest's insurance. I gave this guest a 5 star review at the time because she did take responsibility and paid for damage. If she had reached out beforehand to ask about a pet, we could have discussed it. We welcome respectful guests and do our best to create a clean, peaceful space for everyone. Enforcing house rules is simply part of maintaining that standard.

Great Place

Good place to stay, nice and clean. My husband and I did originally drive right by because it was not clear on Apple map that there was a driveway to the property but there is!

Fun stay, great location

Diana was a great host! Had a great time kayaking and the quiet location. She was understanding with my predicament and accomodating. The cabin was perfect, so many nice details she added!

Restful

Lake Life Retreat 2 was a retreat. Much thought has been put into items needed for a comfortable stay. It was clean, nicely located with lake views and a quiet neighborhood. Easy access to many surrounding area activities. We enjoyed our time there and Diana is a great host.
