The bungalow was cuter than the pictures! Very roomy and comfortable with just about everything we needed for our stay; The setting was quiet and peaceful. Communication with the owners was easy and they were very responsive, even with some of our crazy requests….like downloading an app on their TV! We truly enjoyed our stay and when we come back to visit our son, we would not hesitate to stay here again.
This house was perfect for our stay. Everything was in brand new condition and very clean. We just loved staying here and the property owners were extremely helpful and communicative. Can’t wait to stay here again sometime.
From beginning to end the stay was amazing. We had 4 adults for 3 nights. It was easy to find. Heather even put up a Christmas tree for us. Everyone in our group said the property was perfect. I hope to stay at this cottage again
The place was away from the main area, very quiet and peaceful. Yet close to town. and not far from Douglas lake. we really enjoyed a stay. The owners live right next door and answered any questions we had. Would definitely stay there again. We were visiting family in the area. We rented a pontoon boat on Douglas lake.

About the host
Hosted by Heather Wright
Raised in East TN, the mountains always mean I'm home. We have lived the small town life for 10 years now and we love to share the simplicity of it with others. We love to travel as a family and we love to visit other rentals all over the country but there is nothing quite like home. You may see us drive by or out walking our dog. Feel free to say hi!
Why they chose this property
We chose this area for the privacy, the quietness and the beauty all around us. We also loved the close proximity to all the things we love such as going to a UT game in Knoxville, hiking in the Smokies or attending a race in Bristol.
What makes this property unique
It is so quiet and has tons of privacy! You can sit on the back deck and spot deer and not see anyone or anything.
