Keweenaw Penninsula, Little Rice Lake near Lake Superior, Gay, Copper Harbor

Located on a small inland lake one mile west of the Lake Superior beach at Big Traverse, this home is one of only 3 houses on the whole Little Rice Lake. It is as private as any other place on the two lake chain. It comes with a nice beach house only feet from the shore. Deer and wild turkeys are seen on the property almost daily. It is close to towns and other things to do in the Keweenaw. History of the old mining days is everywhere. You can take tours into several mines. You can visit old ghost towns. You can pick blueberries in the yard or at a pick your own farm down the road. Wild berries of all kinds are available on plenty of public ground. Fish from the dock or canoe, kayak,boat or shore. Hunting for many birds and animals is only a short walk or ride away from the house. This is not located within a town. The closest town is 7 miles away. Your hosts are very familiar with the entire area and are very helpful in helping you plan your vacation. Many have said this was the best vacation that they have ever had.
