The property and hosts were great! The home is clean, well maintained and it’s apparent that a lot of thought went into the space. We will definitely stay here if we’re in the area again.
We were visiting my sister in law who lives in Calumet. The house was close to everything we needed, clean, spacious and the owners were friendly and communicated with us quickly. We would definitely stay at this property again!!
Fantastic property to stay at! Clean & safe environment. The host was accomodating with our dogs, and everything was great with the multiple bedrooms and living room areas. Great full kitchen!
The house is very clean and bigger than it looks in the photos. We had more than enough space, and the location is great for exploring the Keweenaw. We had everything we needed for preparing meals at the house.
This was a clean, pet friendly property that was in a great location. We got to see all the things in the Keweenaw that we wanted and it was a short drive from the house. We enjoyed our stay.
Exceptionally clean home that fit our needs well. This was our final stop on a 2 week/3 stop roadtrip aim the upper Great Lakes and it was a perfect way to end our trip in a good central location to all the action Keeweenaw has to offer. Thank you for providing us a nice clean space to relax after our adventurous time out exploring the area.
Property shows as offered. Homeowner was more than accommodating and went above and beyond when we needed something. Explained of our late night arrival and they turned in some lights for us to make our arrival much easier
Great space with lots of character, conveniently mid-way up the peninsula. Very clean and comfortable. We loved the front entry way for all of our gear and the house was great for our two dogs. The temps were in the high 70's and low 80's when we were there and we made sure to leave windows open in the cool mornings and the house stayed pleasantly cool. It was a good stay!
Host relied to my texts immediately. The rental was clean. Loved the fensed in backyard for my dogI wasn't in need of anything. Travel brochures were left to help me find things to do
The house was very clean and well stocked for all our needs. Renters were great with communication and details regarding our stay. Looking forward to coming back in April when our son graduates.
Our stay was nice. The owner was very communicative with us and very accommodating. We loved the closeness to where we were visiting. Plus we got to see the Northern Lights as a plus, first time!
Spacious and clean home that worked wonderful as our home base for exploring the Keweenaw peninsula. Minutes from good food, shopping and Lake Superior access.
Overall not bad. House is definitely old however most of them in that area are. Inside was very clean and tidy. I was a Little disappointed the backyard was not mowed and the fire pit and grill were really not in a usable state, which is fine to not have those amenities, but if there going to be out there I would suggest making them worth using. Battery died in the thermostat last day there so woke up to a colder than normal house but not the end of the world. All normal household items you would need are available which was nice, with plenty of linens and kitchenware. Honestly my biggest issue was being so close to untidy neighbors, one has a dog that won’t shut up and the other side has kids and toys all over, there were plastic parts of toys and such in the driveway when we arrived, just makes for a run down setting. The central location was good with minimizing drive times to each location. Beds were hard/bouncy, living room couches/futons were also pretty hard. Not that you plan to spend a ton of time in the house but it would be nice to have comfortable bedding and furniture when you’re trying to relax. Again overall not bad for the price, but as someone who’s been in customer service for almost 20 years, there are definitely areas that need to be addressed.
