We had a great stay - loved the house, the location and all the amenities. The property was beautiful with so many lovely personal touches to the decor. Comfy beds, and everything we could need. Perfect for a family, or group of friends to share. Hope to stay again soon!
This place truly is a gem. Normally, the photos make a place look better than it is, in the case of this house it is even more beautiful than the photos. We enjoyed sitting in the charming garden and family breakfasts in the cozy kitchen. Freestone is a nice little town where we could walk to the local bakery and enjoy wine tasting at Black Kite Cellars. Highly recommend.

Thank you for your wonderful review! We're so glad you enjoyed the home inside and out, and walkable location in Freestone. We appreciate your recommendation and hope to host you again!
Our stay in Freestone, Sonoma County, was everything we wanted and then some. The home was wonderful, but what made this trip unforgettable was the place itself and the people who make this little corner of Sonoma so special. One of the highlights was meeting the local firefighters, men and women, retired, actively serving, and volunteers. By sheer luck, their annual BBQ was happening right outside our gate. Meeting these incredible people who give so much to their community was something I will never forget.Freestone feels magical, with an amazing spa, flower farm, bakery, winery, great nearby restaurants, and Occidental just a few miles away, which absolutely cannot be missed. The team at Russian River Vacation Rentals was also fantastic. Warm, responsive, helpful, and incredibly easy to work with, they made the entire stay feel effortless. Most of all, this was the first vacation in six years where I truly felt rejuvenated, renewed, and revived after some very hard years and many losses. I am so grateful places like Freestone still exist to remind us that people matter and community matters.I would return in a heartbeat. I already miss this magical place.
