About this property
Panoramic Blue Ridge Views - Mountaintop Getaway - King Bed/Huge Deck
Private 15-Acre Ridgetop Retreat | Above the Clouds in the Blue Ridge
Experience the ultimate couples' escape. Nestled at the very peak of a ridgeline on 15 private acres, Silverstone Cottage offers a rare "above the clouds" experience. Whether you’re waking up to the mist rolling through the mountains or dining under a blanket of stars, this certified green-built home is designed for those who want to disconnect from the world and reconnect with nature.
The Outdoor Living Experience: The massive rear deck serves as your primary living space, perfect for:
Morning Zen: We provide yoga mats for sunrise sessions overlooking the peaks.
Sunsets & Sips: Relax in Adirondack rockers (complete with wine holders) as the sky changes colors.
360° Views: For a different perspective, head to the firepit area for a full panoramic view of the Smoky Mountains.
Refined Interiors: Built in August 2025, the cottage features modern, minimalist design focused on the view:
Living Space: Unwind on a large, plush couch with a 75” Smart TV and a Bluetooth stereo. (Pellet stove available Nov–Feb for peak coziness).
The View Room: We’ve intentionally left the main room’s windows uncovered to ensure the mountains are the first thing you see every morning.
Full Kitchen: Fully equipped with a full-range stove, and a dedicated coffee/tea station.
Master Suite: Retreat to a King-sized medium-plush mattress, room-darkening shades (for the bedroom only), and a 55” TV.
Adventure at Your Doorstep: While you’ll feel miles away from everything, you are perfectly positioned:
8 Minutes to Weaverville’s "cute" Main Street for artisan shops and dining.
10 Minutes to the Blue Ridge Parkway entrance.
15 Minutes to the heart of Downtown Asheville.
Golfers: Reems Creek Golf Course sits just below the cottage, offering public play and a great restaurant.
A Note on Our "Wildlife Neighbors" Our front yard is a natural crossing. It’s common to see deer, turkeys, and even the occasional black bear or bobcat from the kitchen window. We share this ridge with nature—please enjoy the show!
Important Guest Requirements: Vehicle Access: AWD or 4WD is strictly required. The road to paradise is steep and private; 2WD vehicles will not make the climb.
Adults Only: To ensure safety near steep ridgelines and burn hazards, this home is not suitable for children. Max occupancy is 2 guests.
Allergies: We maintain a strictly pet-free environment for our guests with allergies.
Transparency (Construction): Through 2026, you may see construction vehicles on the upper ridge line (Mon-Sat). While the cottage remains very private and noise is minimal due to the elevation gap, we want you to be aware of the "neighbors" joining the ridge.
Security: Three Ring cameras monitor the driveway and exterior for your safety.

Why they chose this property
We fell in love with the area during our first ever visit during the pandemic. Nate immediately knew he wanted to eventually live there.
We searched for the right property in the area and particularly loved Weaverville.
The area is so beautiful and relaxing. There's something about the Smoky Mountains that just heals the mind on soul.
What makes this property unique
Our property sits high enough you feel like you're walking out into the clouds when you go out on the deck. Some mornings you are above the clouds, others you're in them.
Being on the ridge line there is a a wildlife path as the animals go from on side of the mountain to the other. You'll see all kinds of animals while visiting our cottage.
