Overall we loved staying here, but there were only a few noticeable drawbacks from making it the perfect stay for us. None of the doors latched (bathroom, rooms) except for the main entrance door and there should also be a disclosure about the road because, unless you have a larger car, it is almost un-driveable and it made our car stall out almost every single time it went up the road and, because the car is small and lower to the ground, we would scrape the front of the car. Aside from these, it was a cozy and wonderful stay and we loved waking up to the sun and water everyday! I just believe this would be better suited for those with a truck or large SUV.

Everything about this house was perfect. We really enjoyed watching the eagles fly around and the fish jump in the river. My son had a great time fishing off the dock. It was incredibly quiet, but the sites weren’t too far away. We loved that we weren’t battling crowds all week. Most relaxing vacation we’ve had in years!
The view is outstanding here, everything is beautiful. Bald eagles, deer, all kinds of wildlife! The property is beautiful and quiet we loved it and will be back.

Our only complaint was with ourselves for not booking a longer stay. The kids would have loved to kayak or have a fire at night. We were there visiting my son who is working at the local theatre. If he returns next year we will be booking a longer trip!

It’s great to know you had the chance to visit your son at the local theatre. We’d be thrilled to welcome you back for an extended stay whenever you return next year. Please don’t hesitate to reach out when you’re ready to plan your next trip; we’d love to help make it even more memorable.
We look forward to hosting you for a great stay in the future.

Heidi, we apologize for the house not being cleaned as thoroughly as is our standard. Please know that local staff is available to assist with any cleanliness issues you encounter while in the home. We hope to get the chance to host you again! Thank you.
This is the 2nd time my wife I stayed here, and the property and location couldn't be more magical! This 2nd time was our official honeymoon trip, and got to watch a pair of bald eagles be at home, right in the cove next to this cabin. Absolutely amazing and will always go back. Thanks again!!

Clean, well equipped cabin in a picture perfect setting.
Right on the water, this cabin was the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. Very comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen. Close enough to Brunswick and Bath to make shopping and day trips easy, but secluded enough to be very private. We will definitely book more time at this lovely spot.
