About this property

Peak View Retreat • Walk to Peak 9 & Main St • Garage & Hot Tubs

You found it! Location, location, location. Park the car and leave it, walk to the lifts and Main Street, then come home from Main Street and sleep without the late-night party noise.

Welcome to Peak View Retreat, where soaring ceilings, dramatic timber architecture, and views toward Breckenridge Ski Resort give you the Colorado mountain-lodge experience you came here for. Gather around the fire after a day on the mountain, pour a drink and watch the light change over the ski area, or simply enjoy having a top-floor home with room for everyone to be together.

Gather Beneath the Vaulted Ceilings -
The family room is the heart of Peak View Retreat. Vaulted ceilings and dramatic timber architecture rise above the open living area, while large windows bring in natural Colorado light and views toward Breckenridge Ski Resort.

Gather by the gas fireplace, share wine and stories from the day, settle in for a movie, or start planning tomorrow's adventure. The open kitchen and dining area keep everyone connected while still giving the group room to spread out.

Cook, Eat & Stay Together -
The fully equipped kitchen features granite countertops, stainless appliances, and everything needed for meals at home.

Make breakfast before first chair, put together après-ski snacks when everyone gets back, or cook dinner while the rest of the group gathers nearby. The open layout means whoever is cooking stays part of what's happening.

Top-Floor Mountain-Lodge Living -
Peak View Retreat's two-story, top-floor layout gives the home a sense of space that's difficult to capture in a bedroom count.

Multiple sleeping areas give families and groups flexibility, while the two levels allow everyone to spread out without losing the shared spaces that bring everyone back together.

And with no one living above you, your top-floor retreat really does feel like your own place at the end of the day.

Mountain Comfort -
After skiing, hiking, biking, or exploring town, come home to spacious bathrooms and full-size in-unit laundry for keeping ski clothes and adventure gear ready for tomorrow.

Your private heated garage protects your vehicle and gives you secure storage for skis, snowboards, bikes, and mountain gear. An additional reserved parking space gives your group room for a second vehicle.

The heated snowmelt parking areas and walkways make winter arrivals easier—less dealing with snow and ice and more time enjoying Breckenridge.

Soak After the Mountain -
Guests have access to The large outdoor community hot tubs. Grab a towel and soak under the Colorado sky after a full day outside.

You'll also have access to the steam room, fitness center, and game room, giving everyone options when you're not on the mountain or exploring town.

Breckenridge Without the Car -
Peak 9, the Quicksilver Lift, ski school, historic Main Street, restaurants, shopping, and nightlife are all within an easy walk.

That gives everyone freedom to experience Breckenridge their own way. Some can head for first chair while others sleep in. Walk into town for dinner or shopping. Stay for another drink while someone else heads home. No coordinating the entire group's day around cars, parking, or pickups.

And when the evening is over, walk home from Main Street to the quieter south end of town and leave the late-night noise behind.

Your Colorado Host -
As a Colorado native and lifelong skier, climber, hiker, biker, and traveler, I love sharing what I know about Breckenridge and the Rockies. Whether you need restaurant recommendations, ski advice, family activities, scenic drives, or ideas for tomorrow's adventure, I'm happy to share what I've learned from a lifetime exploring Colorado.

I host the way I like to be hosted—with intention, quality, and no cut corners. You'll find I'm easily reachable when you need me while understanding that this is your holiday.

Think of me as your Rocky Mountain Guide—here when needed, invisible when not.

Our party of 7 adults had a wonderful stay. We celebrated my dad’s 75th birthday, and the location was perfect as it was walking distance to bars and restaurants. The unit was clean, comfortable, and spacious. There was plenty of room for 7 adults. There were some toiletries in the bathrooms and plenty of towels and paper products. The kitchen was stocked with all the pots, pans, and gadgets we needed, and there was a nice grill on the balcony with a table and chairs. It also had a drip coffeemaker and a small Keurig. There was even a box of coffee pods to use, which we really appreciated. The heated floors left me wanting some all throughout my house! The garage was big enough for a Tacoma to park in with extra room all around, and a big extra spot in front. We didn’t use the hot tub on the property, but it looked big and clean from the outside. Check out was really easy with minimal (and reasonable) tasks. Kirk was stellar with communication and accommodating our needs. We don’t travel to Breck often, but it’ll be nice to have this place bookmarked for next time!

Bessie, thank you for such a thoughtful review! I’m glad Peak View Retreat gave your group plenty of room to spread out while still feeling comfortable together. I especially appreciate you mentioning the well-stocked kitchen, coffee options, heated floors, easy parking and simple checkout. Add in being able to leave the cars behind and walk to Main Street, and you captured so much of what makes this home special. I’d love to welcome you back next time Breckenridge brings you this way. Cheers, Kirk

We lucked upon this property for a last minute weekend getaway in Breckenridge. It is in a great location, it was very very clean, well maintained and would definitely be a property I try and go back to! I love the fact that there was a garage and a parking spot in front of the garage with parking being SUCH an issue in Breckenridge these days! Walked across the street quickly to the Breckenridge Brewery for a cold beer almost as soon as we got there! Short walking distance to town regardless of the weather. The host was EXTREMELY responsive and seems like the kind of person you would always want to be your host! Thank you!

As a Colorado native who grew up skiing, climbing, hiking, and exploring nearly every corner of this state—and many others around the globe—I’ve spent a lifetime chasing adventure and appreciating comfort. From ski runs in the Alps to high-end hotels in Dubai, I’ve seen what true hospitality looks like, and I bring that mindset to every detail of your stay.

Before entering the business world, I worked as a chef, bartender, and waiter, which taught me firsthand how to create exceptional guest experiences. I host the way I like to be hosted—with intention, quality, and no cut corners. The Peak View Retreat is a reflection of that. I’m proud to host this home base with fellow travelers and help guide your family or crew to unforgettable memories in Breckenridge and beyond.

Why they chose this property

Location is everything. I chose this particular spot because it offers the best of both worlds—just a short walk to the Quicksilver lift and Main Street, yet far enough from the core to avoid the late-night crowd noise. It’s tucked on the south edge of town, which means quieter nights, quicker trail access, and the rare luxury of not needing a car. I park in the heated garage and step into adventure from the front door. It reminds me of ski towns in Europe—walkable, beautiful, and built for freedom.

What makes this property unique

Freedom and flexibility. That’s what sets The Peak View Retreat apart. With lifts, town, and trails just steps away, there’s no need for rigid group schedules or meet-up points. You can head out early to catch the fresh powder while others sleep in, join each other when it fits, or peel off at your own pace. Whether you're out chasing snow or curled up in the hot tub or sofa with a glass of wine, everyone gets to do their vacation their way.

The space is designed with intention: it's not just about where you stay—it's about how you feel while you're here. Relaxed, recharged, and truly taken care of.
