Beautiful grounds with paths carved around the property to check out the land. Nice quiet area. Fire pit in back that we used.Kitchen had everything we need and a large island to work on.The beds and baths were also very nice and like everything well executed.

Love this location!

We had a great stay! The house is so cute! Loved the big island and kitchen. Everything was exactly as described and shown in the pictures. We enjoyed coffee on the sunporch each morning, sitting outside on the patio and hanging out in the living room/kitchen.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Farmhouse. The property is set on a beautiful lot with a view of pines, a path way to explore the country side and fire pit for roasting S'mores and engaging in conversation. The house was very clean, the kitchen well equipped and bathrooms spacious and modern. Beds were very comfortable. The screened in porch was a perfect place to gather for our morning coffee. We ate most meals under the umbrella on the back patio. The house is a short drive from Alden and a Torch Lake public access. Highly recommend.

Charming Farmhouse

Needed a place to stay as we visited family nearby. The Farmhouse is the nicest place we've stayed in the 4 yrs of visiting the area. Everything appears almost new and very well stocked with disposable goods, kitchen items, etc. Had one minor issue and the owner was there in two minutes, as they live next door! Many of the area activities are within 20-25 mins. Will try to stay here again.

Wonderful vacation rental

We were so impressed by the farmhouse rental and the coziness/comfort/cleanliness of the (very well maintained) home. The kitchen was perfectly stocked for our family of 5. Only thing to note was the lack of A/C, but there was a fan in every bedroom. We enjoyed morning coffee in the sunroom and campfire nights in the yard, and the owners were very responsive to our questions along the way. Highly recommended!

Pulmonary nurses getaway

The house was incredibly charming with special touches throughout the house to feel like you were at home. The grounds were immaculate and simple gorgeous to walk the neatly groomed trails. Again, the home was beautiful decorated and the kitchen ideal for meal preparations and to gather together. The beds were so comfortable and the bathroom space more than you could hope for with five women.

Property was lovely and clean. The house was perfect for 4 adults and 2 teenagers to spread out and be comfortable. No air conditioning, but definitely did not need it. The owners obviously care about their property and take great care of the house.

IWe all thought it was clean, we supplied with every thing 4 people need. We are all golfers that have business's so we thought the wood work, trim, and restoration of the old farm house was done very well. Our 5-year-old said “This is the best vacation rental ever!”, and we tended to agree. The farmhouse was clearly renovated with care and attention to detail. We had everything we needed and more. The house and accessories were lovely. From the kitchen to bathrooms; everything you would need was there. The host was very responsive with any questions we had. There is no A/C in this old farmhouse but plenty of fans, towels/linens, on demand hot water, and much more. Short drive to the grocery store and lake.

Lovely home!

The craftsmanship of this home was beautiful! Loved the flooring, the lighting and the woodwork/trim on the interiors was so well done! Its location to Torch Lake and downtown Alden as well as downtown Elk Rapids. Would absolutely stay here again! :)

Gorgeous and clean close to the Lake

We had a wonderful time in this home. It was clean and well stocked with everything you need for a family vacation from kitchen essentials to outdoor games to indoor activities for the kids. The legos were a big hit as well as many games of monopoly! Plenty of towels and blankets. Wonderful stay!

Great property close to Torch Lake

Had a great stay on our guy golf trip. Close to multiple courses, nicely updated decor, clean, had everything we needed. Stayed in Sept and was comfortable with windows open and fans on (no A/C in unit)
