The apartment is located a few minutes walk from the historic center of the city (just 100 meters from the entrance to the beautiful Boboli Gardens and 800 meters from the Pitti Palace), but at the same time it is located in the greenery of the prestigious and residential area of Poggio Imperiale well served by countless shops, restaurants and a supermarket.
The 105 sqm apartment is located on the 1st floor inside an ancient building of the '900 in one of the most beautiful and quiet areas of Florence, luxuriously renovated with ancient frescoes and high ceilings, large soundproofed and air-conditioned rooms; going into detail the house consists of: a large entrance hall with ancient fresco, two large bedrooms equipped with every comfort; the first room consists of a double bed, wardrobe, bedside tables, the second bedroom consists of a double bed and a single bed with wardrobe and bedside tables, 1 exclusive bathroom reserved for the master bedroom with crystal shower, 2nd master bathroom also 'it with crystal shower, beautiful living-dining room of approx. 30 with antique fresco of the 900, well equipped kitchenette including a balcony. The furniture is new including latex mattresses and wooden slats. Guests can enjoy free WI-FI super fast (Fiber) throughout the apartment, air conditioning, safe, towels, bed linen, bathrobes, disposable slippers, hair dryer, iron, bath foam. No additional costs will be applied for the consumption of energy, water and gas.
The apartment can be reached by car, the area is not subject to limited traffic.
For those who want to park their car or rent it is available for a fee (€ 20.00 per day for small / medium cars while for the other € 23.00) a comfortable indoor garage (not owned by me) adjacent to the apartment. Availability is subject to confirmation. The garage can also be booked directly by the customer by sending an e-mail to the e-mail address: garagelaperla @ yahoo. it, indicating name and surname and telephone number, day and time of arrival and departure (advance payment is not requested).

Upon arrival (check-in) guests must pay in cash the tourist tax provided by the Municipality of Florence (€ 3 per day per person for a maximum of seven nights, excluding children under the age of 12). In addition, guests staying in the house must:
- show a valid identification document (passport or identity card);
- sign the lease,
as provided for by Italian law

Amazing stay in Florence 👍

We had an amazing stay in Florence. Simone is an impeccable host and the property is simply charming, clean and well appointed. Just like the pics and description - everything was in place. We even had bottles of wine ready for us. Simone is an amazing host. Super communicative. Finally the location of the property is very strategic. Close to restaurants, quiet and near a bus stop. We will totally stay at this place next time we come back and visit. 👍👍👍

Delightful

This is a lovely property somewhat off the beaten path, but still within walking distance of everything you want to see. It was a pleasure to return to the quiet neighborhood and this very comfortable, spacious and well-stocked apartment after jam-packed days spent in seas of humanity. Simone is a very gracious host. He provided a list of recommended nearby restaurants (excellent) and helped us with our baggage (which was very much appreciated given the stairs!). Highly recommended.

Perfect Florence location!

We loved our stay! This is our second time and know that if we head back to Florence again, and it's available, we will try to stay here. The host is wonderful and thoughtful - making sure we knew how everything worked and setting everything up to be comfortable and accessible. The location is perfect if you're visiting Florence! Boboli garden is across the road and everything is otherwise a close walk away or there is the bus. There is even a Taxi stand a minute walk away. It's truly perfect.

Location, Location, Location!!

We were 2 couples visiting Florentine friends plus a student studying in Florence for a semester and we could not have found a more perfect apartment and location! It is right outside the ancient Florence door, wall, and Boboli Gardens. It was easy to walk everywhere but away from the crowds and tranquil. Groceries were minutes away. Our friends knew so many sweet spots for eating and drinking near the apartment and also agreed it is one of the best locations to be in Florence!The apartment was perfect for 2 couples, and had lovely space for hosting. We did not really cook, but the kitchen had all the basics, including oil, salt, sugar, coffee, etc. The beds were SO comfortable, from mattress to linens and everything was spotless. Simone greeted us for check in with 2 bottles of wine, bottled water, and some cold drinks in the fridge. His English is far better than my Italian and we had no problems communicating! We highly recommend and hope to return!

Perfect Stay in Florence

Our family absolutely loved our stay here. The apartment was very spacious and very clean. The Host, Simone, was extremely professional and went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed. There is not an elevator, but it’s only on the second floor so it was easy to get up and down with no issues. There is also a washing machine which is on the outside balcony in which you can hang clothes to dry with clothes pins. We used it twice while we were there for small loads and it worked out great. Kitchen is well stocked with plates, cutlery, glasses, mugs. Everything you could need. Beds were very comfortable. The area is great as it is walking distance to Pitti Palace and the Boboli Gardens which should not be missed. There is a really good gelato spot on the corner called Sbrino’s. We also enjoyed a cafe on the next street over that had indoor and outdoor seating. There are plenty of places to eat that are within walking distance. We took the bus to avoid walking so much to further areas, and tickets can be bought for that right at the corner store. Very easy and they come frequently. The grocery store, Carrefor, is a few minutes by walking. We would definitely stay here again and hope to visit Florence again soon! Such a beautiful and unique place.

Highly Recommend

This property excellent. The host Mr. Simone goes above and beyond. The neighbor is great and you can find parking close by as you will see many people get very creative. We never had an issue parking in some of the “no parking” areas as long as you don’t block a garage or something important. Easy walk to Ponte Vecchio and other tourist spots. The Piazzale Michelangelo is right up the hill and has incredible views and some immaculate homes up there. Trattoria Da Ruggero is right around the corner and a don’t miss family restaurant. Make a reservation as it’s small. Porta Romana is a steak house and wood fired pizza joint also just around the corner. Fresh pastries and coffee as well a few steps away. I highly recommend it. The pics of the place speak for themselves.

An amazing apartment

The nicest apartment that we have ever enjoyed and I have a long experience with short-term rentals. The apartment is de luxe, beautiful, spacious and perfectly situated in a quiet area, and Simone - the owner - is the most helpful person that one could expect or desire. He keeps the property in perfect condition, sparkling clean and is very helpful for advice or for anything one would want. The apartment is a short walk from the central historic area of Florence but it is very easy to arrive there - and it is only a few meters to an entrance to Boboli Gardens, one of the hidden jewels of Florence. Close to great trattoria, cafes and restaurants, one could expect no more from any rental. Highly - very highly - recommended. Bravo Simone!

Superb Apartment

We have been using VRBO for 15 years In the US, Europe and Latin America. Simone's apartment is by far the finest we have experienced. It is spacious, bright, very comfortably furnished and, best of all, very quiet. The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms modern and functional and the kitchen well equipped. On our arrival, Simone had stocked the place with soft drinks, water, coffee, tea, paper products, flowers and two bottles of wine! He is a charming and considerate host and anxious to be helpful in every way. He explained all the mechanical aspects of the apartment thoroughly, gave us a good picture of the neighborhood and how to get around Florence, public transportation and restaurants. And, he was waiting with a taxi for us when we departed. A perfect stay.

Perfect family holiday

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday at Simone’s oasis of an apartment. We followed many of his suggestions for restaurants, which were all very good and reasonably priced. The set up of the apartment was all that we needed for our family of grandmother, son, wife and baby. It was very quiet and lovely. We enjoyed the neighborhood shopping as well. We often walked to the historical center and found this was a great way to walk off the morning pastries and nightly pasta. Simone provide many beverages, including wine, water, soda and all the makings for tea and espresso. We made dinner a couple of times and had all we needed in the kitchen to do so. Very well equipped. Simone is a very sweet, accommodating host. You just can’t go wrong here if you are looking to live a more authentic Italian life while visiting Florence. Highly recommend!

Fabulous location in a quiet neighborhood

First, Simone was a great host! He met us at the apartment to show us around and to complete our booking paperwork. If you needed anything he was always available via WhatsApp. Not only was there wine to ease us into our vacation, but plenty of water to get us started since it was quite hot in July. The market is in walking distance, but bring your own sturdy bag if your purchasing staples for your stay. The restaurants Simone suggested we're just around the corner and wonderful! I do suggest booking in advance, we decided to wing it without reservations at Antica Porta since it was around the corner on our first night, the tables outside we're unavailable but she had a table right in the entry which was perfect and the food was great. The bus is a short walk and so easy to get to places if you have a heavy walking day planned. The only thing we could say, is that the sheets in the 2nd bedroom we're rough/stiff compared to the 1st bedroom linen. That being said, our stay here was very enjoyable and would come back again!

Gorgeous apartment and a fabulous host!

This was my first time in Italy (and Florence) and we couldn't have picked a better apartment! It's on a quiet street about a mile from city center, but definitely walkable. It's very close to a taxi stand, so although we walked most of the time, we appreciated a taxi occasionally. Simone is a charming and attentive host. He met us at the apartment & showed us how everything worked. The refrigerator was stocked with enough water & cold drinks to last through our 4 days & he even left us 2 bottles of wine. He checked in periodically and helped arrange a taxi several times. He also responds VERY quickly to any and all inquiries and genuinely seemed concerned that we had everything we needed. Book this apartment with confidence. You won't be disappointed! Clean, comfortable beds, gorgeous painted ceilings, etc. Thank you Simone! We loved Florence and your amazing apartment.

Superior accommodation

This unit is beautiful, and worked well for our family. It is in a location convenient to Boboli Gardens, about one minute from the entrance. For families visiting, you can purchase an annual family pass for 101 euro at the Pitti Palace ticket office that gets everyone into the Uffizi, Pitti Palace and several other museums, but also Boboli, and then you can walk back and forth each day between this unit and the Ponte Vecchio through the gardens if you'd like. There is a grocery, a gelato store, and several good restaurants convenient to the apartment. The apartment itself is spotless, wonderfully decorated, and spacious enough to be able to relax at the end of a day of touring. The beds are very comfortable. However, even though the apartment was stellar, the highlight of the stay was the attentiveness of Simone, who is a delightful host. He met us at check-in and reviewed everything with us. He left us a refrigerator full of bottled water and several bottles of wine. He also assisted us with taxi reservations. On the morning of our check-out, we had a 0755 train for Milan, and Simone had reserved a 0700 cab for us. We were surprised and delighted to see Simone come to see us off and make sure everything went smoothly. That went above and beyond, and was so appreciated. It reduced stress for us. If you are thinking of booking this unit, you will not be disappointed. We will not hesitate to recommend Simone to friends of ours who are traveling to Florence!

Simone was such a delight to meet and a wonderful host, helping us before our visit with pending strikes that caused travel delays to wonderful suggestions for restaurants etc. The apartment is immaculate and has everything you need for a comfortable stay, the couch may be the most comfortable ever! The beds were very comfy and so nice to have two bathrooms. Very quiet neighborhood but close to wonderful bakeries and cafes and bars...we loved being in a more authentically Italian neighborhood away from the mass of tourists on the other side of the river. Highly recommend and we will definitely return on any future visits. Simone thank you for everything, your kindness and patience are immense!
