Set a block from the crashing waves of Long Sands Beach, you'll be in the heart of a bevy of restaurants, antique shops, and historical sites for you and your guests to explore. Beautiful home built with the guest in mind with ocean views from all levels!

This open concept property is great for entertaining. The 2nd floor open concept kitchen, dining and living space will be the highlight of your stay. Boasting 5 bedrooms 2 bathrooms and a kitchenette of the first floor. Topped off by the third floor with 3 bedrooms, sitting area and a 4th bathroom. Sit on the third-floor deck with glass railings and enjoy the sights and sounds of Long Sands Beach as you enjoy your favorite snack and beverage.

An inviting farmers porch is the first thing you notice which has views of long sands beach. When you walk into the first floor hall area you'll first notice the amazing tile floor with a kitchenette area. This includes a full fridge/freezer with a sink and cabinet/counter space. this space is ideal for loading and unloading drinks from the beach. The first floor has 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with large tile glass enclosed showers!!. Bedrooms #1-3 have queen beds. Bedrooms #4 and #5 both have queen beds and a set of bunk beds. Custom hard wood floors throughout all of the bedrooms.

On the second floor you have an open concept Kitchen/dining/living space. Adorned with new granite counters, a massive kitchen island, and stainless steel appliances, the chef's kitchen is truly one of the many gems of this house. A 13 Ft. kitchen table holds up to 16 people with plenty of elbow room. The massive 5Ft by 8Ft granite island holds 6 stools which is a great spot to sit and either eat, help cook or just watch the cook in action.
The living space has 2 leather couches, a rocking chair and 2 more side chairs. There is plenty of space to gather around and enjoy each others company. This room also has a 70" flatscreen HDTV. Stay connected with the fast WiFi.
The second floor also has a large full bath with a tub and stackable front loading washer/dryer. The tub is very helpful when bringing your young ones home after a long fun day at the beach.
From the kitchen you have amazing views of long sands beach. Just beyond he kitchen table there its a large slider which leads to a second floor deck. This is an especially nice place to sit and have coffee in the morning while listening and watching the waves.

But wait there is more....The 3rd floor has bedrooms #6-#8. 2 have queen size beds and the third is a new king bed. On this floor is a nice area to escape, there is a sitting area with a couch which has views of the ocean. The third also has your 4th full bathroom. Just beyond the couch in the sitting area is a large slider which leads to the best part of this house.....the 3rd floor deck with glass railings. This house is just a short walk to the beach but with the 3rd floor deck for lying out in the sun and the ocean views you don't even need to go to the beach if you don't want to..

Less than 600 feet to Long Sands Beach which is one of the most beautiful beaches around. Incredible view of the famous Nubble Light House to the left. Enjoy hot summer days sitting on the sand or riding the waves.

Fantastic spot for family celbrations

Couldn’t have picked a better spot. 14 of us from age 15 to 88 and we all had a great stay. Beautiful home, well kept, walk to the beach, quick ride to the grocery store. Kitchen has everything you need. Great set up with the living space on the second floor and bedrooms and bathrooms on 1st and 3rd. 3 levels of decks, first floor is a great shaded area and the 3rd floor is perfect for sunbathing. The shuffle board table game is such a great addition and fun for all ages.

The house was oversized for just the 4 of us but we had great weather and the water was within walking distance. I didn’t like that the tvs required using our own streaming codes and couldn’t figure out how to do it but we weren’t there the watch tv so it was a minor issue. Alll in all 4 thumbs up 👍.

Great family house

We are a family of seven siblings and our spouses, all in our 50s, celebrating our mother’s 80th birthday. We needed eight bedrooms so this place was ideal. There are five fine bedrooms on the first floor with two updated full baths, and three more luxurious bedrooms and full bath on the third floor. The middle floor has a very large, open space with another full bath, and a table that seats fourteen. The two balconies with ocean views were perfect, and we could all flow in and out of the living area easily and with plenty of room. The kitchen was open and very well appointed, with another large fridge and sink on the first floor. The host answered queries within a day, and he kept things very simple. The rules are simple and everything was perfectly laid out. I would recommend this house for any large party!

Prime location for whole family under one roof

This property has adequate space for a family of 10z it was great for everyone to have their own separate bedroom. The option of 2 kitchen spaces. The open concept living and kitchen area provided a great space for everyone to make dinner, play cards and watch tv. It was a bit of surprise we had to make our own beds upon arrival so that should be listed in the check in instructions. The 2nd floor bathroom had a defective lock that could use attention and the 2nd slope freezer was very challenging to open. The other downside is there is not any grass for outdoor play. The family loved the decks overlooking the ocean and lighthouse. There were plenty of chairs. We walked to see the sunrise and sunset from the beach on most days.

The location of this property cant be beat!However we would not stay here again.The beds on the top floor are small and in need of replacing. All couples staying on the top floor had an awful week of back, neck and shoulder stiffness. One of the bedroom's upstairs; the vanity is unusable because a TV is blocking the entire mirror. Most beds are missing any type of side table, so you have to set any belongings that you made need to use/ charge at night directly on the floor.Two of the bunk beds are broken- one being the ladder to climb up to the top bunk, the other being one of the top bunks. One of the downstairs bathrooms had the entire towel rack ripped off the wall, so hanging towels after showers was a challenge. The kitchen is stocked, but not with quality items. You could not cook on a single pan without everything sticking to it, same with cooking sheets and pots. Keep that in mind if you intend to do a lot of cooking in this space. The ice maker in the fridge did not always work properly. We walked into the home and was told the dishwasher wasn't working. Thankfully this was replaced after I asked when it might be fixed (no one wants to hand wash dishes for 15 people)Besides all of this, I think one of the most upsetting things for me was the fact of how dirty the home was when we got there. Showers had mildew and black mold on them, there was random food/ splatter marks all over the walls in the kitchen and behind the garbage can. The floors were filthy.

Wedding Weekend

My extended family and I spent the weekend here and our stay was fantastic. I wish we had more time to enjoy the nearby beach but were consumed with wedding festivities the entire weekend. The house was clean, updated and designed to accommodate a large family gathering. Would look forward to coming back next year to try my hand at surfing.

Perfect in every way!

Our extended family of 11 (ages 3 - 65) just returned from a magical beach week at this beautiful house. What drew us to this listing were the proximity to the ocean, the large open area for hanging out and dining together and the bedroom layout including bunk beds for the kids. The house is just one block back from the ocean. It was a very short, easy walk to the beach. The closest area of waterfront has rocks and great tide pools that the kids loved exploring. The sandy beach area starts just a tiny bit further away - but still a very easy walk even for our 3 year old. One caveat: that closest area of sandy beach disappears during high tide and you need to go further down to have a beach. The tides during our week precluded an all day stay at the “walk to” part of the beach. On several days we drove further down Long Sands Beach where the sandy part is wider at high tide. You have to pay for parking but it’s not bad and the machine takes credit cards. One weekend day we couldn’t find any spots so we parked at a private lot that was cash only so come prepared! Although we had originally planned to spend every day at the “walk to” beach, as it turned out we loved exploring different beaches and the driving was no big deal. We even drove to Ogunquit Beach a couple of days! Our advice: check the tide schedule and plan your days accordingly. The open space in the house was absolutely wonderful for us. The dining table is enormous and allowed all of us to sit down together. The kitchen is extremely well equipped, modern and spacious. There is a spare refrigerator on the 1st floor. We made great use of the grill! The bedroom layout is exactly as described in the property listing - no surprises. The bathrooms were lovely - 3 with large showers and one with shower tub. There is outdoor deck space on each of the 3 levels which we took great advantage of. We all agree that there isn’t a thing we would change about the house! We can’t wait to return!!

The property is great for a multiple families and is even nicer in person than in the pictures. Bedrooms are on the first and third floor and second floor is the living space with open layout, big kitchen and dining area and open living room. The beach is a short walk away and is so fun for kids. Owner was very easy to communicate with and check in process was easy. We greatly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property.

Great location for a family get together

The house was perfect for our family group of 14, which included the parents, three adult children and their spouses, and six grandchildren. With four separate family units, each family had their own bathroom and the appropriate sleeping arrangements. And the large open kitchen was perfect for entertaining additional visitors to celebrate a milestone birthday of one of the adults.

This property looks beautiful in the pictures, but doesn’t begin to do it justice. I booked the house for a group of 12 women, and everyone kept saying how awesome the house was, and how relaxing. We loved the ocean views, the neighborhood is quiet and friendly, and you are close enough to portsmouth to drive in for any dining or shopping! We loved our stay! Thank you!

Great family house

We stayed 5 nights in June 2021. Our family loved this location and the house met all our expectations. There are 8 bedrooms. 5 on first floor and 3 on top floor. The main level is all open concept and has a beautiful area to all sit and eat together or play games. You can see the ocean from the 3rd deck. The beach is just a short walk. We cooked all our meals here and found the kitchen had adequate supplies. Be sure to bring your own beach towels and beach gear none is provided. This house is well maintained and very clean. Highly recommend this house, would love to stay again. Gather the family and make some memories.

York Maine is an extremely kid friendly vacation spot. York wild animal amusement park is less than 2 miles from the property. Sort sands beach, which is less than 2 mi away, contains a fenced in playground, quaint shops, restaurants and a bowling alley.

What makes this property unique

We enjoy having fun filled days of boogie boarding or making sand castles in the sun. we then love to get ice cream up the street in the afternoon with the kids. the best part is after a fun filled day at the beach making the kids a pizza for dinner and my husband and I taking a walk down the beach to have dinner just the 2 of us. Our house is close enough to the beach to walk but far enough away from the commotion of the beach to have quiet privacy when it is wanted.
