Situated in Heworth Green, our very well appointed house has all you will need for a relaxing stay in York. With master double (en suite), double and twin rooms- all dressed with new and stylish bedding on pocket sprung mattresses. "Alba House" has comfortable seating for 8 in the lounge with flatscreen TV and wireless hub. The kitchen is very well appointed with dining area for 8. Outside there are patios to rear with out side dining space along with drive for parking for 2 cars. A ten minute stroll takes you inside Monkgate and to the Minster.

Our newly appointed house has 3 bedrooms, a master double (en suite),double and twin . The house sleeps 6 comfortably with room for 2 extra on our sofa bed in the lounge .It is set in Heworth Green, a very pleasant area of York. Our home offers free WiFi, free parking, just 10 minutes’ stroll from the historic centre of York. It is on a frequent park and ride bus service route, which picks up and drops off right at the front door. Alba House is perfectly located to explore the vibrant city centre, and has easy access to York’s outer ring road for visiting other nearby attractions. York Racecourse is 11 minutes' drive away and the property is just 20 minutes' walk from Betty's Tea Rooms.

The house was amazing. Great place for us to spread out. It was a short walk to the town center which made it super convenient to leave the car at the house. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful property, well appointed and convenient to everything York has to offer. The kitchen is beautiful, quiet location and very easy to find. Lots of basic supplies (however there wasn’t any salt). Beds are very comfortable and bathrooms clean. I would highly recommend this unit.

We had a great stay, house was perfect for our needs, very comfortable and everything we needed. Parking a plus and right on the bus route into York, bus easy to navigate. We also walked into central York from the house which was pleasant and manageable. Would stay again.

Great house & location

Property was clean & very comfortable & about a 20 min walk from the centre. Everything we needed was there, towels, bedding, kettle, toaster etc. We ate out so did not use hob or oven or washing machine but great to have. Communication with Owners was good re access & I would recommend a stay in this property.

Great accommodation for visiting York

This property was perfect for our group weekend away to York, located close to the centre. Plenty of space for everyone, big table in the kitchen for us all to socialise and eat together. Very clean and well equipped. Great communication from the very start and throughout our booking.

Perfect Place to Stay on York

We traveled from the USA in August 2019. The house is absolutely gorgeous! Very clean, easy to access, in walking distance to downtown York. Was great to have a parking space, loved the outside patio area, crisp linens and well-equipped kitchen. Would definitely stay again. Thank you for having us!

Great location very clean and tidy could do with more information regarding boiler and hot water situation. With z few improvements eg. None of the bedroom or the living room doirs shut and with a baby that doesnt sleep very well everyone was woken as none if the doors shut also travel cot couldn't get one side up and thats how it was keft for us

We thought that the house was very comfortable. Lots of spacious rooms, superb for 3 families to share. House was warm even when heating was off. Very good location to town which was a 10 minute walk. Throughly enjoyed our weekend in York and the house contributed to that in a huge way. Lovely house. 10-15 minutes walk into York. 7 of us stayed for the weekend.

I would definitely stay again. Couple of small points- shower head wouldn't stay up and the downstairs toilet seat didn't seem to fit properly. Other than these 2 minor things, it was perfect.

Nice house in a great location. Easy walking into York (10mins flat walking) and all the attractions. Loads to do and see in York and the surrounding area. Castle Museum and Castle Howard worth a visit. The house was clean and tidy when we arrived and suited our needs for the week. Comfy beds and beautiful bedding and towels The house does need some TLC though due to wear and tear. None of the bedroom doors shut completely. Shower door doesn’t close completely and the shower head only stays up facing one way with the knob to turn it on and off a mission with wet hands. Loo seats need attention. Shame that previous comments about having a shower curtain in the main bathroom not taken up as it was a pain not having one. However the + outweigh the - so please don’t be put off booking this property

We stayed in York this past July on a trip from Edinburgh to London (A family of Texans). We absolutely loved this home and its location!! Walking distance from the York Wall and Minster. The home was perfect for the 5 of us with the kitchen and all the rooms perfect in size.. The owner and team were always available when we had questions and even made a stop by when we could't figure out how to lock the door (felt really stupid about that - Handle up not down ;-). ) There was a nice Costa coffee a couple of blocks away and lots of restaurants right at the wall. Again, plenty of space, lots of ventilation in the hot season, and nearby to everything in York. Thanks again all! See you in a couple of years! Dallas

My wife and I love York. We have visited many many times over the years. We love the whole atmosphere of a safe city with great nights out alongside the fabulous history and culture.

An opportunity to buy a property arose in 2016. We looked around at 9am and had an offer accepted by 9.15 am, we knew the house was perfect for our needs. and had no hesitations in purchasing, "Alba House". The style and finish of the house is excellent. But primarily the location is great. We can park the car and not use it again all week!!

Our children love the property and so do we. I am sure you will also.

Alba House has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with a downstairs cloakroom. This alongside parking and terrace for eating out made the house perfect for short breaks in York. The fact that the house is new means it meets guests high standards.
