Beachfront Getaway is a beautiful beachfront home located on Galveston west end in Jamaica Beach. Located next to Galveston State Park, hawks make their rounds floating above the dunes in the morning and pelicans drift in the wind in the evening.

This home features a fenced in yard for your pets, and is just a short walk around the dunes and you are on the beach. If you enjoy fishing, this home is located right next to Galveston Island State Park, where it is legal to fish without a fishing license.

Beachfront Getaway features a large front deck overlooking the beach and the Gulf of Mexico. It includes a downstairs private shower built for two, making it easy to clean off after a day spent relaxing on the beach.

The front rooms and the kitchen feature vaulted ceilings and an open floor plan. There are many large windows facing the beach showcasing spectacular panoramic views which makes it easy to sit and relax in comfort while watching your kids play on the beach.

Jamaica Beach is located on the west end of Galveston Island and is the only other city on the island that has its own police force, fire department, paramedics, water rescue and emergency services, making Jamaica Beach one of the safest and most family friendly beaches on the island. With plenty of restaurants located nearby, you can spend your entire vacation in Jamaica Beach.

This was a great place to take a family getaway! Amazing location right on the beach. Kid and pet friendly! Quiet location next to the state park and away from the busier public beach. Would definitely stay here again!

The house was very comfortable, clean and yard mowed. The location was wonderful. My major concern were the stairs. The outside railing wobbles and numerous boards loose. We enjoyed our stay.

We loved it!! Perfect for 4 adults and 2 children. Simple check in and out, Harold let us know what to do and no problems. Location is great. Beach front and view were awesome. It was the first time that our great niece and nephew from Utah had been to the beach and they loved it! Would definitely stay again!!

Perfect Beachfront Getaway

The property is on the beach with very easy walking access. The house is clean and well stocked. Very friendly for families with pets and comfortable living area. The balcony and outside decks are excellent for relaxing and enjoying the gulf sea breeze and for watching the seagulls and pelicans flight patterns. We will return!

Harold was very accommodating. The house was clean, and had all we needed, plus the view. A baby was with us,so a washer, dryer would have been nice. The fenced back yard was great for the dogs. We all had a great time and will be back!!

Perfect Location

The house is cute and met our needs well. The location is wonderful - especially being next to the state park. There were definitely more birds around and being able to drive down on the beach to access a beach where you can’t drive is the best of both worlds. The house is simple and had everything we needed. The beds were comfy and there was plenty of seating. We liked being closer to everything Galveston has to offer and not having to drive as far down. Communication and check in were super easy and we had no problems at all. Would definitely rent again.

We enjoyed our long weekend. Super convenient location to the beach. House was well stocked with supplies and linens. Outside area was nice to sit outside with pups in fenced yard. House could have been a little cleaner, front door needs to be replaced/repaired. The floor at front door is rotten. Could use a little TLC.

This house has been in my family since the 1980's. My brother and I own the house and I am in charge of renting it.

Why they chose this property

Jamaica Beach is well known as the best family friendly beach on the island. We are a city within a city and that means faster fire, rescue and police service.

Our house is off a private road, near the state park. Plus we are right on the beach, literally. You can't beat this house, the location and the incredible views from outside and inside the house!

What makes this property unique

This house is actual beachfront. With large front windows, you can watch your kids play on the beach from the inside of the house. The house is always super clean and we update the bedding regularly.

Our house is pet friendly and has a large fenced in yard that even big dogs can enjoy. You will be glad to know, we have a strict 'no pet on bed' policy.
