Great pet-friendly and sweet, perfect size cottage for small family, 3 bedrooms, fenced in private backyard with ample seating. Very nicely done kitchen with everything we needed for our stay. GREAT LOCATION -boardwalk and state park a walkable distance. Loved the Reservoir restaurant— - thank you for our stay !
We’ve been staying on and off at this property for 20 years. Owners have anyways been amazing, location is great. The walk to the big beach is not bad and you can access the little lake with a short walk.
Our family loved this cozy little cabin for our stay in Holland! It’s such an incredible location and we loved that our dog was able to join us as well.
From the start Craig communicated very well with me he made sure i had all the information i needed made me feel welcomed! The place was super cozy and it was in a nice area loved how he had cards and other games as well!
The property was very cozy! It was close to the main road that took us to and from the festival areas. We were a short walk to the water as well. Great stay!
Location. Location. Location. It was near everything we wanted to do. It’s not new and flashy, but it had everything we needed ….nice kitchen, comfortable beds, Netflix, comfy living room, etc. A perfect “home base” for enjoying the area.
Very good choice due to location near state park. Comfortable rooms and living space. Maybe too cozy for some people, but great base of operations for those who want to be on the beach and explore the area.
Cozy, clean cottage fitted out with all we needed to eat, sleep, and hang out with family located in a terrific spot for easy trips to the General Store for bakery in the mornings and ice cream in the evenings. Beautiful location for hiking up Mt Pisgah, and daily walks to the beach or other cottages to visit family and friends!Been coming to Ottawa Beach for more than 30 years! It’s our family’s favorite home away from home!Thank you to the cottage owner for letting us stay once again this year!
Stayed here for our visit during tulip time. The proximity to the state park can’t be beaten. Will return with kids for that reason alone. Check in is as easy as it can be. Owner is responsive and helpful. Great stay.
Nice house within walking distance of the beach. Located in historic Holland, it is surrounded by other lovely houses and great history. Nice backyard for sitting.

Nice Cabin, great location, unfortunately the third night we were there it rained and the back bedroom and utility room flooded. Up mopping at 3am ruined our trip.

We were available to assist with any issues regarding the property, and we regret that your family matters prevented you from enjoying your stay to the fullest."
Great location to enjoy all that Holland State Park has to offer. Stayed with my teenagers and fur baby. We walked to the beach every day and enjoyed many sunsets. Property is close to the General Store where you can get great Sundaes too. Also within walking distance to Kayak and paddle boarding rentals.
Overall the stay was great! Did notice bit of an ant issue and one of the top bunk beds supports were broken and I little sketchy. But other than that it was perfect for what we needed.

Liked: Check-in, location
Disliked: Cleanliness
The kitchen was beautiful and well stocked. The floors were sticky and gritty upon arrival. The master bedroom mattress was droopy and unsleepable. I had to sleep on the couch all weekend. The bathroom was not clean-especially the shower and the shower curtain had a stain which looked like blood. On the brightside, the location was amazing and we had a nice weekend visiting Hope College.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback on your recent stay. We are sorry to hear that some aspects of your visit did not meet your expectations, as we strive to provide a comfortable and pristine environment for all our guests.
We take all guest comments seriously and have addressed the points raised:
* Mattress Comfort: We understand that mattress firmness is highly subjective and a matter of personal preference; what feels comfortable to one guest might feel lumpy to another. We regularly inspect and maintain our beds, but we have noted your comments and will continue to monitor the mattress's condition.
* Cleanliness Concerns: Cleanliness is a top priority, and our professional staff follows a meticulous, multi-point cleaning protocol before every arrival, including a full sanitization of all bathrooms and floors. We checked the property immediately after your departure and found no issues with sticky floors or unclean bathtubs. We wish you had reached out to us during your stay, as we would have gladly sent our cleaning team back to address any overlooked spots right away.
We appreciate you bringing these items to our attention as it helps us ensure the highest standards for future visitors. We are always available via phone or message during a guest's stay to resolve any concerns immediately and make your time with us as enjoyable as possible.
We really enjoyed our stay at Craig’s cottage. Being able to bring our pup made our stay even more pleasant. It was clean, cozy, and in a great location that is very walkable. It’s just a 1-2 min walk to the main road and maybe a 3-4 min walk to the general store. We ate a couple of meals in the back patio which was beautifully put together. The backyard is also fenced so we could confidently let our pup roam around without worry that she’d escape. Craig was very communicative and easy to get ahold of when I had a question. It was just what we needed for a relaxing getaway!
