A wonderful place in a peaceful, private setting! Beautiful pine paneling throughout gives it a warm, cozy feel. The kitchen is well stocked, and there’s plenty to enjoy, including books, games, TV, Wi-Fi, and a really cool ping pong table! Just minutes from Lake Superior, with plenty of great hiking trails nearby. The host was friendly, helpful, and a pleasure to work with. We really enjoyed our stay!

We’ve stayed here before and plan to again - Nancy’s place is perfect for our group. Plenty of room for everyone, fully loaded kitchen for our shared meals and we love how easy the walk is to everything in town.

Excellent location with an easy walk into town. Cozy cabin-feel with a lot of activities and ample cooking/dining-in supplies. Very clean and super comfortable beds. We will stay here again next time we visit.

If you want to experience Grand Marais and the surrounding area then this is a great spot to be. The Hosts were awesome and it is certainly a plus to be able to walk from this location to anywhere in Grand Marais. We have stayed at this home before and it meets all our travel and relaxation needs. Fifty feet out the front door and you're looking at the lake! We don't come to the north shore to remain indoors but at the end of a fun filled day this is a great place to kick back. 5 Stars!!!

The house was extremely well stocked. Everyone was comfortable and there was plenty for the kids to do when we were at the house. The location is excellent! We loved being able to bike or walk to places in town and the easy access to a bike trail. For adventures further out it was a short drive either direction.
