Walk into the front door and see all the way to the Cypress trees lining the shores of the Creek. Let the flowing waters lull you into a peaceful sleep in the well appointed cottage. In the morning awake to coffee on the deck and then outdoor cooking on the rock patio in the evening. It just doesn't get any better than that.
The kitchen is fully equipped to prepare any meal you would like.

If you are inclined to stay in, there is Spectrum cable, WIFI, TV and a DVD player to enhance your stay.
However, if you would like to go into town, it is just a short trip of 1.5 miles and you are in the center of the action.

The Azul Casita was home away from home. This little piece of heaven has everything you are looking for. Our family enjoyed the crisp clear waters of Cypress Creek and the beautiful home. We fished, swung from rope swings, explored nature and watched fireflies light up the night. Connie was an excellent host and speaking with her was an absolute joy. Thank you Connie for allowing us to experience this heavenly place. We are going to make this our yearly spot from now on.

Perfect spot on Cypress Creek

As many previous reviews attest, this is a great little spot from which to enjoy Wimberley and Cypress Creek. The location was excellent, and even in the midst of a major drought, there was still plenty of water in the creek to enjoy.

Great location!

Easy check in and adorable cottage right on the creek. Watched a red shoulder hawk each morning and afternoon across the creek and a beautiful duck daily. Saw lots of fish and cypress trees beautiful! Great porch for relaxing! We enjoyed our visit and the convenience of H‑E‑B right down the street.

The best week!

We loved everything about our stay at this property! It is in the perfect location to everything, has the most amazing backyard view and the host makes sure you have everything you need! We spent our days swimming, fishing, hiking and relaxing by the water! 10/10 spot and we look forward to our visit next year!

Great Cabin with everything we needed

The cabin was clean and comfortable for our trip to Wimberly with our three grandchildren! They had a great time on the rope swing and playing in the cool river. Communication was excellent for our arrival and departure. We hope to come back and rent both cabins for a larger family group. Thanks again!

Weekend recharge trip

We felt very fortunate to have high enough water to swim in, as the river is very low. The cabin was as advertised, with a beautiful view and delightful surroundings. It was well stocked, and we found it to be quite clean. Will definitely return.

Obviously, the photo above is not me. However, it is my grandson, and that big fish is one of many that he caught in Cypress Creek at Azul Casita. He fished while we worked on the cottage. It was quite a summer.
We would work all day and then stop and enjoy the evenings on the back deck until we just had to go on home and get a little rest.
We even talked about moving there we liked it so much. Then I thought about moving and decided we would give others a chance to enjoy this great place.
My husband and I have been living in Wimberley full time for the last 2 years, and up until then, we spent every weekend here. Our whole family is here. Our 2 sons and our grandson and granddaughter, who is a cheerleader for WHS. We have a very full life just keeping up with all of their activities, but enjoy the vacation rental business as well. That is why we bought Azul Casita and her next door neighbor Amarillo Casita. We are happy to report both cottages have been renovated and are ready for happy, fun vacationers to visit. Give it a try, you will be glad you did. A little piece of heaven, and throw in a little magic, await your arrival.

Why they chose this property

We chose this property because of the absolutely gorgeous setting and The wonderful cool, clear, deep water here on Cypress Creek. There is no other place like it in Wimberley. We feel so fortunate to be the owners.
Maybe retire here. What a thought!

What makes this property unique

This property has such a unique location. We are only 1.5 miles from the downtown square, but when you are here you feel as though you are far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. You are able to unwind, relax and just be.
However, if you demand more action, just drive 1.5 miles and you are there.
