Our family enjoyed this vacation and the convenience of being right on the beach. The property itself is beautiful, however, a paint job would make it shine even brighter. AC was wonderful to have and the washer and dryer a plus! Kitchen was well equipped with cookware except for sharp knives. PARKING IS VERY TIGHT if there are other vehicles in garage. We would stay here again.

The property was in a great location but the pictures and description need to be updated the patio furniture has changed, some things on the inside could use a little TLC and FYI, the master suite is definitely made for tall people. The patio umbrella needs to be replaced it was pretty rusted but it managed to work out. The views were fantastic from the inside of the unit, an easy walk to Belmont park and restaurants.I would rent it again,,,,but they need to get a firepit, it would come in handy for all those cool San Diego nights.

We chose this place for the fantastic location! It’s a classic, well-used beach house that shows some wear, but it was clean enough and comfortable. The garage access and rental amenities were huge perks for our group. Great communication and easy access met all our expectations. Thank you for having us!

We stayed here with our two young kids and it was great. The location was awesome and it was nice to have a patio. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had enough to cook. As others have mentioned, the house could use some renovations, but walking the boardwalk in that area, it appears to be one of the nicer homes. The A/C is quite loud, so I recommend ear plugs! It is so nice to have the A/C though. Would definitely stay again!

When booking I had no idea that we would literally be right in the middle of EVERYTHING!! Loved this place so much. We didn’t cook much but the kitchen was stocked with everything you would need. Umbrella and beach chairs were all there. If you enjoy people watching and sunsets, this is the best place to be. Starbucks was literally 2 blocks away.

We were super excited to use this home in Mission Beach. I want to start by saying the location is amazing if you want to be in the "hustle and bustle" of things and have the stunning ocean view. Other than that this home was very dissapointing. I want to say I am in Property Mangement so some of the items I will point out may not be of importance to some. The main concern was the slider door latch/lock assembly did not work and this was mentioned in previous reviews. My sister was hurt as the door would not open or close property and she ended up breaking a blood vessel in her hand on the door that did not operate property. This is also a liability as you can not easily get in or out of the door. We ended up having our husbands open and close it for us and even they had a hard time. The place smelled very musty and we had to buy a candle and air spray to cover the smell. The home was over all just beat up. Rust on vents, marks and dirt on all walls, tub in master felt like it was going to fall through, couch and pillows had stains on them, holes in the ceiling in kitchen, washer dryer install not complete and I could go on. It is sad because there was actually paint in the closet and they could have just done a touch up. If the owner would just spend around 2,000 this place could be awesome. Not sure if they even know the condition of this place. We paid almost 4,000 for 4 nights and it was only worth maybe 2,000. Very disappointing.

This condo was a terrific base for our San Diego explorations. It’s a central location to travel up the coast, head to nearby SeaWorld, or into downtown to explore the Gaslamp District, Old Town or take the ferry to Coronado.The condo was clean and well stocked with dishes, pots, pans, glassware and some basics for cooking. The beds were comfortable, spacious living areas and amazing views of the beach as it woke each morning and ended the day in spectacular sunsets. Bathrooms were clean and nice, and the A/C and garage were a big plus. The people-watching of the daily boardwalk promenade was endlessly entertaining.The area has everything you would want. It’s very walkable to a wide variety of equipment rentals, rides and attractions and a big selection of dining choices.Communication with the hosts was stellar, with regular reminder emails, responsive to any questions, easy access instructions and check in/out primers. We’d highly recommend.

The beachfront location makes this a perfect vacay home. It looked just like the photos. It’s old but clean and the heads and linen were amazingly comfortable. The large picture window led to just gazing at the beautiful view and sunset. We appreciated the starter dish soap and sponge and the kitchen was equipped but we didn’t cook there. We would definitely stay here again. 2 car parking garage was a bonus.

This property has a million dollar view and location. However the inside of the property is not what we are accustomed to. I won’t go through all the issues but it was like a frat house. However anything you want for the beach is there. The kitchen was clean, mattresses comfortable, bedding and towels clean. Hopefully they will continue to work on restoring this property to a place that is worthy of its location and view.

Awesome location if you're looking to be on the beach when you open the shades!! Parking is a bit tight for a midsize suv. The property has everything you need for the beach! We were very comfortable there!

Great Vacation - On the beach
