Whether you are looking for a beach vacation with the family, a golf outing with friends, fishing or other unique low country coastal experience, this condo is a great option. This is an ideal property for families, couples and friends. This property is located in the heart of Hilton Head Island, at Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort. It is a one-minute walk to the beautiful beach and the Dunes House Bar and Grill, along with being surrounded by three championship golf courses including designs by Robert Trent Jones, George Fazio and Arthur Hills. It is across the street from Palmetto Dunes Tennis and Pickleball Center, Bike Rentals, the General Store, Alexander’s restaurant and other attractions. It is also adjacent to the Hilton Head Marriott Resort and Spa, and just across the highway from Shelter Cove Marina, with several dinning and shopping options.
The property is located in the Moorings Villas on the second floor and adjacent to the Villas pool. We just finished updating the master bathroom, January 2020, and the balance was remodeled in the fall of 2018 with new carpeting, flooring and mattresses. This unit and is owner managed, and used.
This property has a great layout for families, couples traveling together, and groups of friends vacationing. It is divided into three areas: There is the master bedroom (King) and private bath, with separate shower/bath and sink area and balcony, overlooking the pool area. The center of the unit has open atmosphere that includes the kitchen, dining room and living room. The second bedroom is separate from the other two areas and has two queen beds and its own bathroom area, and balcony. Both bedrooms have large closets and dressers. There is a third full bathroom that has the washer and dryer. This is very convenient layout to allow for some privacy, as well as communal living spaces.
The unit comes equipped with a well-stocked kitchen including full stove/oven, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster, dishwasher and assortment of pots/pans and cooking utensils. There are dishes, glasses coffee mugs and silverware and other items to help make this as close to home as possible.
The unit also comes with WiFi, cable and 3 flat screen TVs, for your convenience and enjoyment.

Time to update the furniture

The condo is in a great location but the furniture needs to be updated. There are rips in the pillows, tears in the patio chairs, the couch in the living room is very uncomfortable and dirty. The MBR mattress is horrible. We enjoyed our stay but it really needs to be updated. If it wasn’t for the furniture I would give more stars.

Great week on HHI

We had a wonderful time at this location in the Moorings. Not crazy about the steps but we all need exercise and it didn’t change the trip one bit!! The chairs in the living room were a bit u comfortable but no longer than we were in the condo we didn’t mind one bit!! Would definitely stay here again!!

Great location!

Great unit in the Moorings, close to the pool and a short walk to the beach. Owners very responsive and nice to work with. We would definitely rent here again for future beach trips!

Lovely March stay

Excellent location, lovely views of the grounds and pools, clean and comfortable and quiet condo with all the amenities. The location is ideal. Walking distance to restaurants, bike rental, beach, general store and golf. Bikes are the best way to get around. We have checked out different locations on Hilton Head and this one suits us best for its walkability to everything you need.

Perfect location beautiful condo.

We had the best time at this lovely condo. The location is perfect near Dunes House so we were able to rent chairs and not bring them with us. The condo is n Beautifully renovated and well equipped. Jon and Linda were very gracious hosts. Great at communication and hospitable. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Incredible Condo Close to Beach!

We had an amazing trip. The condo was very clean and comfortable. It was just a two minute walk to the ocean. So close we made multiple back and forth trips with ease. We could not have been happier and will definitely book this space again. Thank you for providing such a beautiful place to stay!

Just what we were looking for.

Overall, great location, clean, and all that you need. It was an easy walk to the beach, overlooking the pool, and walk/bike to the general store and restaurants. We would stay there again. Owner was quick to respond when asked questions. It had everything our family of 5 was looking for.

Hilton Head peaceful little gem!

We stayed here over the busy Memorial Bank holiday and this place was in the mix of all the facilities but peaceful still. The place was clean, comfortable and functional. The communication also the the owner was top notch via text and he was super helpful. Everything is close enough to walk if you don’t want to be driving. We enjoyed our time here very much and would be keen to stay here again.

I hesitate to post a rave review because then I may not be able to book next time! We came to HH for a wedding and the location was perfect!!! No kidding about beach being a one minute walk!! The condo was spotlessly clean! Will definitely keep booking info for next time!!!

Affordable, next to quiet pool and close to beach

We enjoyed our stay at this property with our family of 5. There is plenty of space and having 3 bathrooms in rare. We especially loved the location- so close to the beach and Dunes Club, a very easy walk to the PD General Store, easy parking. Being next to the pool was a great bonus! The property is older and has some maintenance and functionality issues. The doors and cabinets stick considerably and there is peeling paint in kitchen and bathrooms. In my opinion, none of these things are dealbreakers and it is compensated for by the awesome location. What is important… the beds are comfortable, there is hot water and good pressure in the showers and a washer/dryer in unit (invaluable for families traveling with kids). I would stay here again for the location and affordability.

Perfect Location and Property for our short stay

We were completely impressed with the complete service and communication, especially traveling during a very unknown time. The property was fantastic, the directions for check-in was easy and the location couldn't be beat. Walking distance to the beach sandbar/restaurant, to the General Store and to rent bikes was perfect as we flew in and did not drive. The setup was ideal and allowed everyone traveling to have their own space. The master bath has been remodeled and its very nice too. A few recommendations: beach towels would be a great amenity (or knowing there weren't any for us flying travelers), the master bedroom bed did not give much to a good nights sleep and the queen bedroom bath, the tub did not work so my kids had to take a shower (ok for them, but if there are littles that may be an issue). Otherwise, exceptional location, right next to the pool, quiet during the day and at night and great for a short stay.

Nice condo with a great location

My husband, college age children and I stayed at this property May 9-13. This was our first time in this condo. We thought it nicely decorated. It had practically everything we wanted. The carpet was quite plush in the bedrooms. Nice updates. There are 2 things that need to be replaced. The frying pans are all coated in teflon which I do not like. Even though the owners provided only silicone or nylon spatulas and spoons, someone inevitably used metal on them because they are badly scratched. The second things that need replacing are the 2 chairs in the living room. I thought they both would break every time I sat in them, and I am not a large woman. Not comfortable at all and noisy. Oh, I forgot that the trashcan has the step open, but it won't open when you step on it. You have to lift the lid to put the trash in. These are all things that would not prevent me from staying there again. I can bring my own pan with me as this seems to be a standard thing that happens whenever we rent a place; I've bought a pan while on vacation before to use while I am there, so not a deal breaker. We have stayed at the Moorings before and love the location. We particularly like the Dunes House restaurant that you pass by on your way to the beach. It was exceptionally nice being in Hilton Head in May before the crowds come in. The weather was perfect! Only one day with humidity.
