My husband and I stayed for a week and had an excellent time! I worked 3 of those days and was on video calls all day. The internet worked well and I had no issues. The view and location of this cabin are amazing!
We loved our stay at Crow’s Nest. The cottage had everything we needed. The king bed was very comfortable. The view was fantastic and the host very nice. We bought lobsters from him for a great price and cooked ourselves.
Highly recommend.
Lovely, clean, and well kept cottage with the most spectacular view of the sound! Just as beautiful as any spot in the park, but more peaceful without the crowds. Kitchen is well stocked. We enjoyed many meals on the deck and spent many beautiful evenings sitting on the dock. Paul is a very responsive and accommodating host. And you can buy the sweetest, most delicious lobsters from his dock. Our family had the most amazing time here. I highly recommend staying here! Hope to return soon!
This cottage was a perfect fit for our family of four. It had a nice fireplace which we only used once, but it was perfect. It had a nice heat pump plus electric heat. Washer and dryer very convenient. All baths were good and KIT outfitted perfectly. The deck, grill, picnic area and fires circle were great. Location was ideal, center MDI, for easy access to all Acadia's attractions. Host was responsive, offered lobster at wholesale market price, but we went to Thurston's and skipped the cooking.
Wonderful location on the quiet side of MDI and the view is magnificent! Looking for a place to just chill and get away from the world, this is it. Nice and quiet and a peaceful spot to unwind. Easy access to all the attractions of MDI and Acadia National Park. Paul and Ashlee were excellent hosts and responded promptly when we had questions. We would definitely rent this cottage again if travel plans take us back to Maine. Thank you Paul/Ashlee for sharing your property with us.

Crows Nest Get Away
We had a wonderful stay at the Crows Nest this past week! It was the most perfect place for our stay! We cooked lobsters (bought right from Paul on the dock), played games, did puzzles, and enjoyed the views. We spent some time every day relaxing on the dock and jumping into the sound. We did a ton of hiking and visited Bar Harbor a few times. Everything was so easily accessible and beautiful. The crows nest was exactly as described and we truly loved staying there. The views couldn’t be beat! We also took Paul up on a sunset boat tour with dinner and it was a definite highlight! We would recommend this to anyone!!

Lovely cabins, fully stocked, fabulous communication with owner and LOBSTER!!
Check in was a breeze, everything was right on the table for us to find. Cabin was fully stocked with everything a guest could want--all cookware, pots and pans, linens, towels, bug spray, right on down the line. All we needed to do was make our grocery run, and we were done!!Paul is an gracious and friendly host, as well as a lobster fisherman. We were able to buy all our lobsters directly from our(his) dock on the property for amazing prices. A small side note, the cabin is not quite as close to the water as the pictures show, but the views are still stunning. We had a wonderful relaxing week and look forward to coming back--ultra comfy space with a wonderful fireplace that was used during a cool day. You will not be disappointed!
