The cabin was a perfect place to stay while we visited Acadia Nat'l Park. The place was clean and equipped with everything you needed. It was a great place to call home after a busy day visiting the Nat'l Park. We highly recommend, one of the nicest places we've stayed on our two week trip visiting the New England states.
This cabin is everything we hoped it would be. It was immaculate, well supplied and very cozy. We loved that it was on the quiet side of the island but close to Acadia and Bar Harbor. We highly recommend it. Thank you Dave and Meg.
The log cabin was perfect! The owners have thought of everything to make you feel at home. It was fun to watch the deer and wild turkeys that visited the property a couple times each day. The property is convenient to everything and very quiet. The beautiful gas fireplace was an added treat. We will definitely stay again if in the area!
We've been staying at rentals for many years. This was hands down the best! Great location, very roomy, and fully equipped with everything we needed. As a bonus, we had daily visits from deer and turkeys! We will be returning!
Our week stay here was great… trails nearby and an easy drive into Acadia. The house was completely stocked up that I didn’t need to pack as much as I did. If we would come back to Acadia, we would definitely stay here again.
The log cabin was one of the best VRBO properties I’ve stayed in. Everything you needed- and more - was there. The beds and couches were so comfy. And the location was wonderful. The hosts had thought of everything.
Immaculate and cozy cabin. Plenty of comfortable space for our family of 4. The cabin was well stocked and ready for us to settle into. Meg and David were responsive to any questions. I highly recommend this property.
Very nice cabin close to Acadia NP. The cabin was quiet, private, well-appointed, very clean, and comfortable. We had everything we needed in the cabin. And we even had the opportunity to see flocks of wild turkey in the yard a few times in the mornings. The main bedroom provided a Queen bed, and a separate air conditioning unit. If I had any suggestion regarding this lovely accommodation, it would be to upgrade the mattress on this Queen bed, and to remove the waterproof mattress pad. Overall, our hosts were wonderful, and the cabin was more than we expected. I would definitely stay here again on a future visit.
A truely great stay in a quite neighborhood with amazing sights all around! From the wildlife outside the front door to the ocean views only 10 minuets away, it was an amazing stay!
Accommodations were comfortable, ideal place for getting to the park for hiking and biking, great amenities and loved the beautiful stone fireplace. Hope to stay there again!
Cabin is as described, Cozy, Comfortable, Clean, Quiet and Close to everything you need for a stay in Down East, ME. Love the views and all the wildlife! Would certainty recommend.
This was the perfect place, as cozy as described, centrally located to Bar Harbor, Acadia, and the Penobscot Observatory. Loved it! The fireplace was great for relaxing at the end of the day.
Great house, great location on the quiet side. House had everything we needed. Owners are very friendly and respectful. One of the best rentals we have had on the island.
