The ultimate location for a relaxing recharge! Pictures cannot explain the peace of this wonderful home and host! A truly family experience and we cannot wait to return again!
Everything was very clean- river was fantastic. Might get a little busy when the campground is full but my crew spent everyday enjoying the river . Hostess was fantastic- felt very comfortable here!
Our trip to the Spence house was a nightmare, however, Diane made our stay so enjoyable!! We saw a bear, deers, woodchucks and wild turkeys! My daughter loved sitting on the porch swing listening to the river and watching for lightning bugs, as well as the hot tub to soak in and relax. Diane directions for backroads made traveling to our events/attractions so simple!
Oh how we loved this farmhouse in the mountains!!! Beautiful home and property. The house was so clean with plenty of room for the six of us to spread out. We spent a lot of time on the river in front of the house. Swimming, fishing, and kayaking. In fact, we canceled some plans just to spend more time here on the river. It was just so relaxing. The host is absolutely wonderful! She was so friendly and helpful. We appreciate all she did to make us feel welcome. We’ll definitely be back!!!
The house was just as beautiful as in the pictures. We had serene hours there away from the tourists. Very comfortable, all amenities we needed. Owner was available and helpful with any questions we had. Loved having a campfire and walking in the mountain. Hope to go back!
Diana was wonderful throughout our stay, and provided everything we needed. We spent our time fishing and swimming in the river, and enjoyed the porch. We are already planning a trip to return.
We enjoyed our stay at Spence Cove so much. Mrs. Diane made the stay even more enjoyable with her hospitality. We plan on visiting again in the summer! Beautiful area and very convenient location.
We really enjoyed our stay! The place was super clean and looked exactly like the pictures. The front porch we spent a bunch of time on and the boys loved fishing and spending time in the river!
We had 6 people ages 41 to 16 and all had a blast. Owner is extremly nice and friendly and had tips on where to go for food and fun. The house was well decorated and had everything we needed already there. We will definitely be staying again.
This property is undersold! It is a lovely place to stay. Is great for all ages. Just sitting out on the porch and listening to the River Rush bye this wonderfully peaceful. Would recommend it to everyone
