Welcome to Family Tides! This 4 bedroom, 3 bath home was built in 2019 and is ready for families to come enjoy all that York Beach has to offer! This dog friendly home sleeps 14 and is an easy 5 minute walk to the Long Sands Bathhouse section of the beach.

Completely furnished with central air, Wi-Fi (Hulu +, Disney +, Netflix), and laundry on site. The home boasts hardwood and tile floors throughout and a gas fireplace in the family room.

Off street parking for 6 cars on a quiet dead end road- the perfect location to relax and allow young children to play safely after a day at the beach.

Dogs under 30lbs are welcome.
Feel free to access our extra beach chairs, beach toys, and carts!

Specifics:
First Floor- Fully applianced stainless steel kitchen with granite counter tops and gas range. Cabinets are fully stocked with all you may need and there is a large pantry for storage. Seating for 5 at the breakfast bar along with a kitchen table that seats 9-10. Family room features 2 full sized couches along with upholstered rocking chairs and a wall mounted 65in TV. A bedroom with queen sized bed and bunk beds are located on the first floor along with a full bathroom with stand up shower.

Second Floor-Master Bedroom with king sized bed, TV, and plenty of storage to unpack your belongings into. The second bedroom sleeps 4 with a twin over full bunk bed with trundle and another TV. The third bedroom on this floor sleeps two with twin trundle beds and large closet with pack n play. Also upstairs is a spacious full bathroom with large tub and a laundry room.

Finished Basement- Added in the fall of 2020, the finished basement offers an open concept living and kitchen space. A sleeping area as well as additional full bathroom finish off this space.

Outdoor Space- Off the kitchen you will find a deck with outdoor sectional seating and gas grill. Additionally, the yard has a fire-pit with seating to unwind at the end of the day. Outdoor shower perfect to rinse off when you return from the beach.

*During the off season (October-May) there is a winter tenant in the basement apartment. The full 4 bedroom, 2 bath main home along with outside amenities are reserved for short term renters (you).*

Long Sands Beach, Here We Come!

This is our second year at this property and we love it. The house is beautiful, fully equipped, and a 5-7 minute walk to the beach. We love it there and are already thinking of next summer!

Great vacation rental

Every year we spend a week at York Beach and this year we need to find a new rental location. This house was terrific for a large family. Plenty of bedrooms, super clean and great location. We had a great week enjoying the beach and this home was a perfect spot for us. Thank you!

This house provided us all that we needed. We traveled with our older children and a bunch of their friends. The house allowed us all to spread out, and the location was tucked at the end of a dead end. We were able to walk to the beach in just 10 minutes, but it was great being away from all of the holiday traffic.

We had a very nice stay. People were able to play in the front yard. Could set up corn hole in the back as well as have a nice area to sit to have a fire. The one negative was the amount of dog feces on the ground that we had to pick up before we could enjoy the outside area.

Great Stay in York Maine

We had a great week in York Maine and the house was perfect to accommodate a family trip with 10 adults and an infant. The property was centrally located in York and was less than a 10 minute walk to Long Sands beach and less than a 5 minute drive to Short Sands. The house was clean and well-stocked with everything we needed for our stay. The hosts were very accommodating and the check-in process was simple. My family vacations to York almost every summer and we are looking forward to staying here again in the future.

Great house for a family vacation

Had a great stay here for our family vacation. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone and a large dining table plus counter stools so we can all eat together, play games and cards, etc. Also nice seating on the back porch. Kitchen was well appointed with everything you could need, and the house was clean and well cared for, plus great central air. A nice outdoor shower and lots of beach chairs and equipment provided. And it was a short and easy walk to our favorite beach spot. Good communication with the host as well. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful property

My family of 4 including kids aged 7 and 12 and my parents recently stayed at Nicole’s house. The location was superb in proximity to the beach and restaurants/shops. Family Vacation

I was looking for a large house to rent in Maine where our family could get together and help my husband and I celebrate our 50th Wedding Anniversary. This house was perfect! Wonderful stay in York!

We had a great stay! Justin and Nicole were very helpful and responsive. The house was a short walk to beautiful long sand beach which was perfect for our two little ones (calm waters and wide open beach)! Great Family Home

We had a wonderful week staying in this home . It had everything we needed and we were very comfortable . The house is very clean and in excellent new condition . The owner was very responsive and helpful . The beach and town is close and great for kids . Our dog really enjoyed the off leash walks on the beach in the early am . We also really enjoyed exploring other close towns to eat and shop as well .

We are Nicole and Justin and we have 4 school aged boys and two dogs. Nicole has been vacationing in Maine since she was a childhood and has always felt like it was "home". In 2019 we decided to stop living for those vacations and move to "Vacationland" permanently. We love exploring the outdoors and spending time at the beach all year long. We spend our summers with our kids on a lake in New Hampshire and open our home for renters to enjoy all that York and the surrounding area offer.

Why they chose this property

Being a new home means everything is up to date including the furnishings. Here you will find all the comforts of home within walking to distance to the beach. It is ideally located on a quiet road just 5 minutes to Long Sands beach. In the opposite direction you can stroll down to Short Sands for a variety of shops and restaurants, or hop on the Trolley from Long Sands. The basement was recently updated to offer extra living space and, with an additional kitchen would also be great for multi-generational family getaways. The home is professionally cleaned year round so you can be sure things are well kept.

What makes this property unique

Because we live in this property in the off season it offers all the amenities you would expect in your home. We allow Dogs under 30 lbs, and can be flexible based on conversations with renters.
