The property was beautiful. Easy check in process. Well stocked kitchen. I would only suggest maybe having a couple extra blankets to use as needed. It was a little chilly at night. The fireplace was cozy though. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
Fabulous rental with everything you could need and more. Will definitely rent this house again. It was comfortable, spacious yet cozy, great view and wonderful porch and deck with awesome view of the lake.
Our entire family of grown adults and grandkids gathered here for Thanksgiving after just having experienced a tremendous loss of a loved one. We needed togetherness and healing. This property was perfect and allowed just the right space to be together and just enough space when we needed to retreat and be alone. The sunrise over the lake was the best therapy of all. Thank you thank you thank you for sharing your home with us.
I thought the house was on the lake based on the pictures and the “steps from the lake” description. It isn’t far, thankfully. The house and porches were wonderful, clean and comfy. Until I rented it, I did not know of all the parking and trash restrictions, but our rental contacts and kind neighbors worked everything out with us. We were not able to park our extra cars at the RV park as directed since it was closed with a no parking sign posted. The house was extremely hot when we arrived since the air doesn’t cut on until people are in the house. By the next day, we were cool. Also, the ice maker was one lump of ice. After I emptied it and tried to clean the dispenser, the maker worked great, but the dispenser did not. All other appliances worked great and the kitchen was well stocked. The linens were great and generous. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Our main focus was to be together and we had plenty of room and a good atmosphere for that.
Our first family gathering, overall, worked out well. Fortunately haven't ng rented other homes for such gatherings we knew to bring extra daily supplies (p. Towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent, dish soap) but a number of basic items were not on sight (food wrap, foil, body soap, bottle opener, etc). A trip to near by store solved this but not until a day later since discoveries not made until needing that first night. We attempted to reach owner but "mail ox not set up" so backup contact made to report the coffee pot caraffe was the wrong height so had to hold caraffe up to engage coffee flow. Will owner bring new? Should we purchase to be reimbursed? No communication or response afterwards. Overall, nice stay
Overall very good experience. The cabin was very nice and comfortable. The walk to the lake was very steep and not suited for any with limitations. It was more than a few steps. There was no view or access to the lake from the property. It was situated in an area close to other attractions such as horseback riding, zip lining and shopping. Two nice TVs, one in the upstairs living area and one in lower living area.
Great location & really nice cottage. Owners were great & very easy to work with. We wish we had more available time to stay there & will plan accordingly the next time!!We booked last minute & had to work with the dates available but will plan further ahead booking the next time. Highly recommend!!
What a wonderful and SUPER CLEAN home! Couldn’t have been happier with our choice to stay here as we dropped our son off at Clemson for his freshman year. Highly recommend!
