This place is excellent. It is clean and the host has thought of pretty much everything - the little things that other places may not provide like teapots, graters, and paper towel in the kitchen. There are plenty of hooks in the bedrooms to hang things and electric blankets on the beds. The outside is also wonderful with an undercover table and swing chair.

Cosy and comfortable

Great location - very quiet, but within walking distance of main street and Echo Point. The cottage is very comfortable, warm and well-equipped - all the mod cons, while retaining the charm of a traditional Mountains cottage. The owner, Joanne, was a pleasure to deal with. We had a lovely winter week - thank you!

Wonderful Katoomba Stay

Joanne was a great host and easy to communicate with.The house was immaculately clean and well presented. Even though it is small it easily and comfortably fit our group of 6 with 2 bathrooms and a large kitchen table. It was well stocked which made preparing meals easy. Close walking distance to The 3 sisters so you don’t need to pay for parking to view them or go for a hike.We would definitely stay here again.

Tastefully renovated with modern, well equipped kitchen, modern bathrooms and comfortable beds with high quality linen. Great location in a quiet street, with off street parking. weekend charmer

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay at the Darley Rose. The house, which is walking distance to the Three Sisters Lookout and the Katoomba Falls, is absolutely charming, with wonderful attention to detail and delightful personal touches. This beautifully renovated old charmer combines traditional details with high quality modern amenities including coffee machine and large gas stove. Given this weekends surprisingly cold weather for January, we particularly appreciated the heating throughout, including the wood burning fireplace in the living room and the underfloor heating in the bathrooms. Joanne and Denis have created a delightful home, we will definitely book it again.

We love spending time in the Blue mountains there is so much to do. Such beautiful scenery with wonderful walks where we can enjoy nature. The local golf courses are fantastic and we try to get out as much as possible. We are also loving the local restaurants which seem to be getting better and better.

Why they chose this property

Darley Rose is so conveniently positioned just a short walk from the three sisters and the cliff walk. The house has an essential warmth to it which makes spending time here an absolute pleasure.

What makes this property unique

The garden is fabulous it seems to have something to look at and enjoy throughout the year. The roses are glorious and the garden attracts so many birds..
