About this property

Seafarers, Mevagissey - Coastguard Cottage overlooking harbour

Seafarers (from Harbour2Horizon) is a former HM Coastguard cottage, accommodating four guests. It is tucked away at the end of a private lane, with its own designated parking. Whilst retaining historic charm, the property is presented to an exacting contemporary specification; the versatile kitchen and sleek bathroom, combined with luxurious bedrooms, make it the ideal coastal bolthole. Taking inspiration from the sea, blues, greys, and whites flow through this stunningly transformed interior.

The redesigned garden makes best use of the south facing, elevated site with its far-reaching sea and valley views. Beckoning granite steps lead to sun trapped terraces, created for relaxation and enjoyment. Whether it's gently unwinding on a recliner, savouring a lazy al fresco lunch, or if clouds appear, retreating to The Lookout hideaway, this special space has it all.

The cottage offers versatile accommodation: in the second bedroom you can choose either a super king double or twin single beds. The property is unsuitable for children under nine and is non-smoking and pet free.

Minimum stay is for three nights - but start your holiday on any day of the week.

Cool Places recommends Seafarers as one of the best self catering places to stay in Britain.
