For 10 people, villa with 5 large bedrooms (+ office with PC and Internet), HD TV French channels, Spanish, English (SKY) and German, 4 bathrooms, garden and flowers with bowling alley and basketball ring. Naja with superb arches, allows ping pong in the shade and provides access to a large terrace, private pool 8x4m (with shower) and barbecue. The property has two reception rooms and two kitchens: those of the floor can also be accessed via an external staircase leading to another large terrace with a beautiful view of the monastery and the orange groves and mountains.
Peaceful setting in a residential area, it is located 10 minutes drive from the beautiful sandy beaches of Gandia, easily accessible and with several facilities including port and yacht club and many recreational and sporting activities for young and old. Climbing and hiking (monasteries drive), horse riding (2km), paddle tennis, golf (18 holes in 5 radius of 15-50 km), shooting. Three bikes are available.
Gandia is located 10 minutes drive and has shopping centers and many shops, banks, supermarkets and restaurants; it is rich in cultural activities. Local restaurant to 2 minutes. Discover the beautiful old town of Valencia 1 hour by train or car; You'll also find museums, art galleries and the famous center of Science and Oceanography. The Valencia Airport is 45 minutes from Alicante airport and 1 hour 20 minutes.

The villa and pool are fantastic and spacious. The only issue is there is no air con, which we had overlooked on the booking, which in the middle of a Spanish summer would have been really useful. The nearest bar is fairly small and I wouldn't rely on it for food, serving pizzas from the freezer and running out of fruit juice after ordering just 2, but is fine for a quick drink and some snacks. The local beaches are clean and easy to access.

A great getaway!

After a warm welcome by hostess Sharon, we spent a week at this beautiful villa. The villa is about an hour drive away from Valencia, but about a 15-minute drive from Gandia, a smaller city with lots of restaurants. This villa is the perfect place to relax and do some fun activities/ excursions in the neighborhood like play golf, tennis, paddle tennis, visits to Valencia, the beach, caves nearby and many more. I would definitely recommend this villa!

A very nice house with beautiful terrace and pool

We had a very good time. Paul was an execellent host. Only please take care - this is a five bedroom place and not a six bedroom place. Otherwise a beautiful place!

The house is super spacious and well equipped. Nice Kitchen in lower and upper floor with fridge and freezer is very helpful for storing all food and drinks. Nice and clean pool. Boule field and equipment and table tennis to have fun and Sharon on site as well as the owner Paul are very supportive. The village itself does noi have a real center. But that way it is super quiet in the night. The roller shutter in the kids room was not functional. Paul and Sharon tried to get a handyman to fix it but there was the manana issue...;-). But not a problem for us. We enjoyed our time a lot and hope to be back ..

A relaxing vacation at a comfortable location

We have rented the Villa Camelia with 5 adults and 3 children between 5 and 7 years old. The house is fully equipped with everything which is needed to have an enjoyable stay. There are enough pool chairs, towels, plates , and we did not miss a single piece of equipment in the kitchen, but I have to admit that we used the barbecue outside most of the time. We spent most of the time at the pool (there is a big parasol) or at the large desk which is fully shaded by the terrace on the first floor. We took all meals at this table which was easily big enough for us. The tables inside may be a little bit too small if the house is fully booked, but I assume that you can manage. Otherwise you could split, there is a second large table on the first floor. It would also be possible to use the house with 2 parties, the 3 bedrooms, kitchen, living room and bathroom upstairs are accessible without entering the ground floor. The house is equipped with fly-screens at most of the windows, therefore it was possible to ventilate the house during the evenings. The rooms on the upper floor have nevertheless been quite warm, but we had 38°C in the shadow during some of the days. There are mobile ventilators in all bedrooms. There is internet access and WLAN, which worked well. There is also a TV (we did not use). The house was very clean and everything we used was working properly. There was a guy who cleaned and maintained the pool once a week. We used the pool a lot and also the boule ground once a day for our internal championship. The next beach is Gandia (a bit too crowded for us), but in less than 20 minutes you can also reach other beaches like e.g. Oliva which were fine for us. For shopping you also need a car, but in Gandia (10-15 minutes) there is a Carrefour and a LIDL with good parking possibilities. There are other shops for local food or wine in Gandia if you want this. Gandia also has a small pedestrian zone with shops and some bars. There are also 2 bars in walking distance (with kids) from the house. We have been to one of them twice. The food was basic, but good quality and price. The house and location was exactly what we hoped for. It was very relaxing that the kids were able to have fun in the pool while we had some time to read or chat. There was also a lot of information in the house about places for entertainment or sightseeing and the owner was very helpful with every question I had in advance. The house is the first option for our next vacation.

Alojamiento amplio y muy bien equipado, tiene de todo. Situado en medio de una vega repleta de naranjos, por el día mucho calor pero por la noche refresca bastante, hay bastantes mosquitos (es lo normal). Está a unos 8 min de Gandia pueblo con distintos sitios para hacer compra y unos 12 min. de Gandia playa que a mi gusto es la mejor playa.

Vacances en famille

A notre arrivée nous avons été reçu par Sharon qui est extrêmement sympathique et attentionnée. La maison est extra , il y a vraiment tout a disposition pour les vacanciers, y compris des jeux pour enfants.les lits sont confortables, le seul point faible, si il faut en mettre un, c'est par très forte température (40°) l'étage est suffocant, ça serait judicieux d'investir dans une clim. , sinon, nous avons passé de merveilleuses vacances dans cette belle villa que je recommande. La maison est pas mal située, par contre obligation de prendre une voiture car rien a moin de 5klm. Nous en garderons un très bon souvenir.

La maison est très grande, beaucoup d'espace extérieur. Les chambres confortables, grande piscine bien entretenue. Conforme à la description. La maison est particulièrement bien équipée pour une location de vacances ce qui est appréciable. L'accueil est chaleureux et professionnel.

Très bon séjour dans la villa Camelia

Nous avons passé 12 jours au mois d’août dans la villa Camélia. Nous étions en famille (10 personnes avec des enfants de 9 à 13 ans) et avons passé un très bon séjour. - La villa est grande ce qui permet à chacun d’avoir son espace sans se marcher dessus - Elle est vraiment très bien équipée (beaucoup de verres, vaisselle, presse-agrumes électrique très appréciable en Espagne, étendoirs, nombreuses raquettes et balles de ping-pong, ballon de basket, boules de pétanque, jeux aquatiques gonflables, nous avons même trouvé des pelles et seaux pour aller à la plage !) il ne manque vraiment rien. - il est également très appréciable de ne pas avoir à emmener les draps, serviettes de bain et de plage pour 10 personnes. - le propriétaire est à l’écoute et très réactif s’il y a la moindre question - toutes les activités à disposition dans la maison (à commencer par la piscine) sont très appréciables, surtout avec des enfants - tous les arbres fruitiers dans le jardin sont très agréables ; nous avons pu profiter du raisin extrêmement sucré et quel bonheur d’être sur son transat avec l’odeur de la menthe qui vient jusqu’à nos narines :-) S’il faut noter quelques axes d’amélioration / points plus mitigés : - certains appareils sont assez vétustes (chaudière, frigo,…) nous avons eu quelques douches fraîches mais pas vraiment gênant au mois d’août - nous étions plus loin que nous ne le pensions de la plage_ sublime soit dit en passant (au début, en passant dans Gandia, nous mettions 30 mn ! Puis en optimisant 15-18 mn environ, ce qui nous a paru assez loin. La deuxième problématique étant qu’il est très difficile de se garer dans Gandia au mois d’aout. Pour conclure, très bon séjour dans cette villa. Nous gardons plein de merveilleux souvenirs. Merci beaucoup !

Beautiful villa near good climbing

The villa is large and good for groups, there are even two totally separate kitchen/living areas if people want their own space. We stayed in winter and the villa is equipped with central heating which is rare in Spain in my experience, so it was warm. It did break down while we were there, but both the owner and the keeper were very responsive about getting a technician around to sort it out quickly. We enjoyed the oranges, one of our group even enjoyed the pool (in winter). The beds were comfortable. The kitchen facilities were impressive. The computer is slow but the WiFi is good. The location is very convenient to Gandia climbing and half an hour from other areas. The town of Gandia has plenty of shops and large supermarkets for supplies. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Casa estupenda para disfrutar en grupo

La casa está perfectamente equipada y es muy cómoda con una piscina estupenda. Aunque hace falta coche para todo (15 minutos a la playa, al supermercado...) la casa es ideal para disfrutarla y tiene de todo. Hemos estado muy bien.

Totalement conforme aux photos et à la description

En famille et entre amis, nous avons loué cette magnifique villa et nous n'avons pas été déçus. La villa se situe dans un coin reculé de tout et au calme absolu …. avec une vue sublime sur les vallées et montagnes. Il a fait une chaleur intense et la piscine a sauvé nos vacances… Il y a pas mal d'endroit ombragé dont une terrasse, nous y passions le plus clair de notre temps. Malgré quelques soucis avec le lave-vaisselle, le personnel d'entretien s'est montré présent même s'il n'a su réparé ce dernier, il a répondu à notre appel directement néanmoins, la communication était difficile (merci reverso ;)). Le propriétaire, très chouette, a répondu à tous mes appels avant les vacances et à tenté de satisfaire à tous nos besoins… très présents aussi. Les chambres, les salles de bains et les installations étaient super, à l'étage (prévu pour les enfants et bébé) étouffant et pas d'airco…. il a été très difficile de faire baisser a température (+/-30° de nuit)… c'était vraiment le seul point négatif. La piste de pétanque c'était le plus Absolut. En terme des vacances sous le signe du Farniente au bord de la piscine (trop chaud pour faire autre chose dommage) néanmoins, possibilité de faire des randonnées et les alentours sont justes magnifiques !!! Nous reviendrons

The villa was lovely and very clean.

We really enjoyed our holiday at this villa. It was the perfect size for all 10 of us and the pool was a sufficient size. Due to the location of the villa you would require hire cars as the only thing within walking distance is two bars that are quite basic. The beaches at Gandia were fantastic for the children. They were very clean with plenty of toilets and restaurants/ice cream parlours. We went in August and it wasn't overcrowded at all.

Superbe endroit de vacances

Très belle maison de vacances située à seulement 13 Kms des plages de Gandia. Un endroit calme et reposant. Les descriptifs correspondent à l'annonce. Maison Spacieuse, avec grande terrasse ombragée. Piscine agréable, terrain de pétanque parfait, et table de ping pong qui nous a permis de passer d'excellentes vacances avec les enfants. Les commerces sont très proches. La maison était propre à notre arrivée et nous avons été bien accueillis. Nous remercions encore les propriétaires pour tout le détail fournis pour notre arrivée et de leur disponibilité. Un détail qui est très important pour nous. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

Très belles prestations dans cette villa. Elle est certes à une quinzaine de minutes des plages de Gandia, mais c'est un vrai havre de paix où toute la famille peut s'éclater dans la piscine ou trouver un coin au calme pour lire ou se reposer. A notre arrivée, l'eau chaude n'était pas branchée, et après un coup de fil à la charmante personne qui nous avait accueilli, le problème à été solutionné dans le quart d'heure. Bref, on sent que tout est fait pour que vous passiez le meilleur moment. A notre arrivée la maison était parfaitement propre, l'équipement correspondait exactement au descriptif préalablement envoyé par le propriétaire (que je remercie au passage pour sa patience après mon erreur d'envoi des arrhes). Je recommande vivement cette location.

Superbe endroit de vacances

Superbe endroit où passer de très agréables vacances. Piscine, terrasses ombragées, espaces de vie et chambre spacieuses et équipées; le tout dans un état nickel ! A proximité de la plage, de petits villages, de monastères et abbayes, de Valence et son océanographe (nous n'avons pas eu le temps de visiter la ville),... Propriétaires belges très sympathiques, en prime. A recommander !

Superbe endroit de vacances

Superbe endroit où passer des vacances très relaxantes. Piscine, terrasses ombragées, chambres et espaces de vie spacieux et équipés. Rien ne manque... A proximité, la plage, les monastères, Valence (nous n'avons pu visiter que l'Océanographe par manque de temps mais il en valait vraiment la peine). A recommander !
