Beautiful house with everything you could need for a pleasant stay in the Cotswolds. Comfortable home with excellent amenities and a great host. The village itself is lovely (definitely check out the butchers and local pub) and within easy striking distance of countryside walks or a trip to Stratford-Upon-Avon. I would highly recommend - we're already talking about a return visit!
A really well kept property, clean with great aminities. The garden was secure for our dog and the central location made it perfect for walks, with a great pub just up the road. I would also recommend the butchers, which was also close by
The Old Bank is a spacious, comfortable cottage with a beautiful garden. It is perfectly situated for exploring the Cotswolds and has with everything you should need for your stay. Wonderful walks, country pubs and a well stocked local shop are all nearby and Geraint is a great host.
The property is in a great location for small Morrisons supermarket (2mins away) fantastic pub (the Kings Arms) and Hotel with restaurant. The kitchen has both an Aga cooker and great hob and oven unit. The garden is great if you have dogs, completely secure and private. A few minutes from the front door you have access to some lovely walks. We walked to Chipping Campden in just over an hour across clearly marked footpaths. Great for dogs. The only issue I had was with VRBO's communication portal, I struggled to get replies from the owner due to "broken links" but we got there in the end. We were a party of six adults and 3 retrievers and didn't feel too cramped and parking isn't an issue. I highly recommend the property for a Cotswold retreat. You are perfectly positioned for visit many of the lovely villages & towns of the Cotswolds.
The Old Bank house is a well situated Property, the main road is well used and can be very noisy. Very large well maintained garden that is dog and children safe. The house is well located to visit Stratford, Morton on the Marsh and surrounding area, caught a bus into Chipping Camden that runs every two hours very pretty place lots of places to drink and eat.
Mickleton We can recommend the Kings Arms for food, great outdoor space staff very friendly. Great time had by a group of friends

Debbie so pleased you all had such a great 50th birthday at The Old Bank and enjoyed our beautiful part of The Cotwolds. You're very welcome back at anytime.
Great house and garden set in a village with everything you need for a comfortable stay.
Good clear instructions received from Ger regarding access and parking. We found the house a great size and had everything we needed for our stay, including dishwasher and washing machine. We had requested a cot and highchair, both of which were in place. We used all the rooms and found it really useful to have individual bathrooms / en-suites.
The garden was great for us all to use, as we were lucky with amazing weather. Our 2 dogs also loved to explore and sit out with us.
We used the local shop, pubs for food and drink, visited the nearby National Trust and walked daily around the area. We also travelled each day and visited some of the beautiful villages, brewery and tourist attractions.
All in all a great stay.

What makes this property unique
For over a century the house served as the Bank for the local community and you'll find the original window bars in the kitchen pantry and the swing sign on the front. There's plenty of space to relax in both the house and garden and the log burner in the living room makes for great cosy evenings in front of the fire.
