We had a great visit! We enjoyed the location so much! It’s approximately 4 miles from town and the scenery is beautiful and we saw lots of Elk! So nice to sit on the deck and take it all in! The condo was clean and had everything we needed! There is a big window in the kitchen and family room that was so nice to enjoy the view! Hope to be back!!

This was a very nice cabin. Great location close to the north entrance to Yellowstone. Very clean and comfortable. The owners have everything you need with lots of extras (sunscreen, bug spray, bear spray, coolers for day use, etc). The cabin is well stocked with plenty of room. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

Nice property! Owners did everything they could to make it great for us. The layout had the master bedroom and bathroom separate which is a bummer but not a deal breaker considering the options in the area. Saw elk and wildlife every morning and evening!

The hosts were great property was great. I only had to minor gripes: 1) I wish I had know that it was on 6 miles of the roughest and most washboarded gravel I've ever driven on (and I live in rural Iowa, I'm not a stranger to gravel). 2) they need to have an outdoor trash can that I can take the garbage out to. We stayed there for 2 days and had nowhere to empty the trash unless I wanted to drive to a dump sight (which I didn't want to). Beside that it was great. Thanks!

Elk Retreat

We were pleasantly surprised to see all of the elk in such close proximity to this place. A cow elk walked right up to the front of the property. We would stay here again and would recommend it to others.

This is a 2nd marriage for us, and we have 6 kids and 11 grand kids. We have lived in Maui Hawaii, Montana, Colorado and Missouri. We enjoy mountain living and what it has to offer. We renovated this home when we purchased and lived in it for 18 months. When we had the opportunity to work in Yellowstone National Park for 18 months, it was difficult to find long-term living accommodations in the area. We purchased this home because we LOVE the location, view and what the area has to offer! We renovated the home with blue stain pine on the vaulted ceilings and two walls, painted throughout and purchased beautiful furniture to make this feel like your home away from home! We hope you love it as much as we do!

We love Montana! Each time we come and stay in our place, it is home!

What makes this property unique

This home is larger than the other cabins in the area. Most of them are about 1,000 to 1,500 sq ft while our home is 1,600 sq ft. We have a VERY LARGE kitchen and living room, making it very comfortable for up to 8 guests. There are two large windows (one in the living room and one in the kitchen), looking out to Electric Peak, Yellowstone National Park and Yellowstone River.

We own a large 4-bedroom home in Orlando approximately 5-8 minutes to Disney (VRBO 2470802) and I manage 6 condos in Kihei, Maui, Hawaii at a boutique resort. Let me know if you would like additional information.
